If I could give them zero stars, I would. This place is awful! Their candy and ice cream is great, but they have no idea what customer service is, or even any common sense, for that matter.
We arrived at about 10 pm on a Friday, to join the rest of our group who had arrived about 15 minutes prior. All told, the group was almost 50 people. When we arrived, we found an employee locking the door, and telling us we couldn't come in, because they were closed. It turns out that their hours had changed, that very day.
While I completely understand not letting new customers in after closing, all of us who were locked out had young children in the restaurant, whose bills needed to be paid! In addition to being very rude to us, the idiot employees couldn't even process the fact that they wouldn't be paid unless they let us in.
After a few minutes of arguing, the stupid girl at the door said "you can only come in to pick up your kids”, apparently expecting us to stand out in the cold, waiting for the pleasure of being able to come in and pay the bill at a restaurant at which we didn't even get to eat.
Finally after talking with the manager, we were allowed in, but they didn't serve is and didn't even clear a table for us to sit down. Again, not having the slightest concept of customer service, or even enough common sense to realize how short sighted they were being.
We will never patronize this place again! And I will take every opportunity I get to tell people about this...
Read moreI had known about Malley's Chocolates prior to visiting. They are locally renowned for their chocolate covered strawberries, and other fanciful chocolate creations, especially during Valentines Day. When I arrived, the main area where their chocolate creations are sold, was busy. The crowd continued to grow as I were sat in the dining area of the building. This area, was empty during this morning. It was a pleasant surprise. Given this information, there was one server on shift, who was also made to work the cash register. This led to slow service, but everything was taken care of regardless. Water, is served in very small glasses, which I didn't particularly like. Their ice cream bar items will surely leave anyone more than thirsty for a tall glass of water. I ordered the "Bordeax Sundae" : (English Toffee ice cream, covered with chocolate and shaved almonds, and hot fudge) Just, oh, my god - out of this world. It was a once a year indulgence for sure! Order it if it's available at a Malley's near you, and a box of their fresh chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries are on the expensive side ($21 for a box of 12) but well worth the money, as they are only available during the month of February surrounding Valentine's Day. Trust me, you won't regret coming here. It's romantic, whimsical and brings diners back to an era long gone in the...

Went there on August 2, 2022. Had a perfect answer for a great day. We were going to have hot fudge sundaes. A group of older women were going in when we were pulling in the parking spot. Another words they were not even sitting yet. As we pulled in the front counter employee came running to lock the door and had a smirk on his face as he turned the lock and looked at us. It was beyond frustrating and rude. We are not looking to be disrespected for no good reason. He was so into his power trip not thinking of who was losing out or who he was hurting. The store and the server was losing money and the company. He works the front counter therefore the register couldn't be counted until the other people were done. We knew what we wanted and wouldn't have been taking any more time up than the people that just walked in. We are done with places that let their employees give very memorable bad service. Every customer that stops in and spends money is why the company can exist. Turn someone away the way you have is a good way to keep us from coming back. Your employees represent the company. You are not the only ice cream shop or even the only...
