Scramblers — Restaurant in Mentor

I have now tried this place 3 different times and each time I haven't had very good service. I just don't know what it is about this place. Maybe the time I come in is bad or something. They said the wait wasn't going to be that long and then when they sat us 10 minutes later, they tried to put us back in the corner of this room at this long table for 6 or so and there was only 3 of us. We asked politely to be seated in the other room, then they sat us by the door and we were freezing the whole time.

Not to be critical but my friends and I just felt like we weren't treated very well. I guess they decided to give us 2 different servers for some reason too. The first server we had took care of a couple other tables before us but they were seated after us. The lady finally came over to us and tried to take our order but she didn't take our drink order yet. Weird. So anyway, I asked my biscuits and gravy to be brought out first but they brought them out at the same time as the other food. They hardly had any gravy on them. My one friend's eggs and sausage were cold as if they were sitting in the back for a while.

The other server we had that brought out the food never came back to check on us. The first server we had kept passing us by when we needed refills and a couple other things. The entire bill was $55 for the 3 of us. Ridiculous. Not a very good experience. We won't be back. The tip we gave her was what she deserved as far as I'm concerned. And I usually tip...

I was really looking forward to trying this place out and when I ordered my omelette I specifically said no meat because I don’t eat meat and when I got it it was full of ham And there was only a little amount of hashbrowns on my plate! My waitress brought me another plate and this time there was no meat in my omelette but there was a big pile of undercooked hashbrowns so I asked her if she could take them back and browned them. When she returned them to me She made me take a bite of them before she would leave! She then proceeded to tell me that she was worried about me as if all of this was my fault! When she brought the bill for my friend and I it should have equaled $30 and some change instead it was $68! She proceeded to explain everything on the bill and said do you understand and walked away. After about 10 minutes she heard me complaining about the price and returned with another bill and said she made a mistake And let us sit there with our bill For another 15 minutes until we walked up to the register and waited there for about 10 more minutes before she came to ring us up. I explain to her that I was unsatisfied with the service and with my meal. When she was done ringing me up she gave me my receipt and threw my card down on the wooden wall that goes around the cash register! I’ll never go to scrambles again that was my first and last time! Waffle house is 100 times better...

My wife and I love scrambles, but last two times we visited we had really bad experience. Literally, today we visited with my wife and little daughter to eat breakfast and I can’t tell you I never felt humiliated like today because server was young guy said he is new and he brought food with bad attitude and drop plates on table, my skillet was cold eggs that I requested was not even over easy and cooked well, my wife’s avocado toast was same cold and avocado was old that last time my wife was poisoned because of it but I wanted to give a chance and it again failed. Even next table lady said to server who was serving closest table to wipe it because it was nasty but ready for another customer All our food was cold , old and bacon was like a rubber we waited long and after manager heard our concern and offered us free of charge breakfast but main point is not that you offer free breakfast and will shut our mouths. In conclusion they need to hired better stuff who knows how to cook fresh food and approach the customers. We definitely will never visit that place and I don’t recommend to...
