I had to go back and amend my previous post. Prior, this Dominos had 5 stars, but I had to drop them down to three (3). Yesterday I tried to order a few pizzas for our family movie night (as we typically do), but I couldn’t log onto my account to place my order. I was told by their app my email was invalid, even though this is the same email address they send my coupons to. After ten minutes of trying to convince the Dominos app this was the right account, I finally started getting an error message telling me to try logging in later.
The kids were hungry and it was still a school night (the last day of school was today), so eventually we went to Culver’s just so they could have something quick to eat (see my Culver’s review).
If their system was down, it would have been nice to wake up to some type of free pizza for the inconvenience. The reason I say that is because, there are a LOT of restaurants, fast food and pizza places around here. But I ignore pretty much all of them because Dominos had been so consistent in their speed and quality. But after yesterday’s snafu I feel motivated to start checking out their competitors. If after 15 minutes you still can’t place an order with them, they’re no longer “fast food.”
And just encase anyone thinks I’m being unreasonable because I could have called in my order, their website was also down. Now unless you have their menu memorized (which I don’t), then calling in would require the person who answers the phone to read off their entire menu to you while they’re trying to make the pizza. Read moreInconsistent. Customer service majorly lacking. I have managed bars and restaurants for over 12 years and this store needs some help. I can appreciate that the pandemic has hit all businesses and it has been hard to hire help. With how much the wages have increased and the prices, you would expect a positive change with the customer service. I've even continued to order occasionally knowing not every experience will always be the same. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza with light sauce, and it was drenched in sauce. They gave me a pasta dish when I ordered a bread dip. After complaining, someone did drop off the correct order. During warmer weather, my food was left on a park bench in the parking lot claiming they cannot enter buildings because of Covid. The food also arrives one one side of the box or in a mess. I was an extremely favorable tipper in the beginning. After the price increases and the continued poor quality of service I will not order because it would be unfair to the delivery driver who gets stuck dealing with the poor service through the reflection of their tip. Corporate needs to give some attention to this...
Read morePlaced order at 6:49 pm tracked order until 8:30pm, at which point the tracker has been stuck on the quality check step for nearly an hour, if not longer. I called the location, and after being put on hold for over 10 minutes, I hung up and called back. I was then told they didn’t know where my order went but it must have gotten delivered to the wrong address and that they would remake my order and get it out to me ASAP. I called back at 9:30 pm and was placed on hold for 20 minutes…So, I hung up again and called back AGAIN…note, this doesn’t account for the several times I called and no one answered, so the call just rang until it automatically ended. In calling back, it was now 10 pm, over 3 hours since my original order was placed, they said my order has yet to be made. Staff blamed understaffing and an overwhelming number of orders being placed. I was offered a refund and the order was cancelled. I will never order from this location again. A complete and total disappointment.
On the bright side, at least I didn’t have to experience over cooked, or worse yet, under cooked items like most of the other reviews for...
