Coffee Bandits — Restaurant in Merced

Coffee Bandits is a locals seat down coffee place in downtown Merced. Go and support local spots! You will see local artists, college kids and a kaleidoscope of individuals. The prices are fitting of a local coffee shop and have baked goodies and sandwiches there are some vegan/vegetarian options as well. Has local artists art on walls and is LGBTQ+ friendly. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Environment is chill and a great place to study or work. The individuals working here are not your Starbucks/Dutchbros employees they don’t need your life story and they don’t want it. They will answer questions and then keep working until you are ready to order. So dont expect the most friendliest customer service but they will help and assist. I would recommend this place for students who are just doing homework. It was a bit difficult for me to understand some things about this cafe place in terms of what exactly to do about how to put away drinks and stuff. I got the hang of it after a couple of visits. My only problem with this place is the bathroom. There is only one and you need to have a key. I understand there is a reason for this type of system to be implimented but I see customers get flustered when others take too long and it makes the environment a bit tense. This used to be the spot.. I spend a lot of time there drink a lot of coffee there smiled often.. there was a lot of handmaids from locals and just a buzzy overall vibe..

In recent years last couple times I've been there super shotty service takes forever to get a simple coffee no one seems to be happy that works there.. Play seems a little cluttered and uninspired..

This is the point of reviews I'm only telling you guys this so you'll step your game up a little bit unless you plan on closing or something??? Cuz that's the energy you put off.. especially now that I live out of state and I come back to get a little piece of home..
