I called in at 6:55 PM to Place an order on my way home from work, I arrived at 7:28 PM and I let the staff know I was there for a pick up. They asked for my name and looked confused once I told them I placed an order on the phone a while ago, They asked each other about my order and no one seemed to know anything about it. They then told me it would be ready in four minutes and so I thought it was maybe just a miscommunication and they went ahead and charged me for my order, After that, I went to go sit down and I let about 10 minutes pass And my order was still not ready so I figured My order was not actually ready and they just told me that it was almost ready so that I wouldn’t be upset. I would have appreciated the honesty because I ended up waiting there about 30 to 45 minutes for my food even though I had placed my order about 40 minutes before my arrival. The employees were talking behind my back and pointed at me numerous times, and once an employee approached me, I asked them if my food was almost ready, and that I would have appreciated to be told the truth about the wait time because I had other obligations to attend to, He pretended like he didn’t know what I was saying And told me to just keep waiting. Finally, when I got my food, I took it to my car to check it just in case and it was the wrong order….. I went back inside and let the Employee know And he seemed frustrated with me after I showed him my receipt and let him know that I ordered something different. I received my food and came home and upon opening it, I found a hair and then another 😪 It’s such a shame because we spend countless dinners at this establishment and really enjoyed the food, But the customer service was completely unprofessional, and I have never felt more uncomfortable in a restaurant. We will never be here again.

Today is 05/26/2025 i am writing a continuation to my review because the owner responded about 30 minutes ago today at about 7:40 & i was hoping it would be a reply with apologies not accusing a customer that not only has spend 500+ at their restaurant but just over all had a horrible experience, instead of making it right the owner chooses to not be accountable. So here we are, the transaction i posted from my Citi card is in the screenshots so im not sure how you could even possibly say its the incorrect location, i even posted the phone calls from that day. I am most certainly talking about the restaurant Tumeric Indian Cuisine & the pictures are 100% of the food your restaurant gave me. I will gladly provide you the bank statements of all the times my boyfriend & i have eaten there as well as our family, there is no mistake in the restaurant. As for the pictures of the food, this is afghani chicken! a dish that one of your very wonderful Doctor guests introduced my boyfriend to…my boyfriend trains a kind doctor that is a loyal customer & he has gone to your location countless time with my boyfriend which is how we came to know this dish. I’m sure he will be happy to confirm that he has had this plate of food many times are Tumeric 😊. My boyfriend liked this dish so much so that that was the dish i ordered that specific day, imagine how disappointed he was to find hair and hear the way your staff treated me. Whenever my bf goes with his doctor client your staff treats them amazing, i guess i am not important enough to be treated with respect. It’s okay though because this interaction has reached the ears of those who matter. I hope you learn from this & are able to better coach your staff on hospitality & that you grow into a better leader. Read moreIf possible this place would get 0 stars. When I was driving for Doordash, the orders woild not only be substantially late, but the orders wouldn't be correct. The manager is terrible and told me I'd just have to deal with it. The people working the register were constantly on their phones and providing inaccurate time frames,(they'd tell me the order would be done in 10 minutes. Then 15 minutes goes by and i ask again and they tell me 10 minutes, then another 15 minutes goes by and they tell me 10 minutes again. Everytime I'd go in there i also wouldn't be the only one waiting. People who ordered in the resturant AFTER myself; and a couple other groups that ordered to go, would get their food before us even though we had placed the orders more than an hour prior. But people dining in and ordering their food their would get it within 10 minutes. Then when i wanted to personally try it, then it was the same situation. It got to the point where i refused to take any orders from them. I also encouraged all customers that ordered Doordash not to ever order from there. I know atleast 3 of the orders I did for them, the customers said they'd never order for. Them again. Not just through Doordash but not orser from them anymore period. I highly suggest anybody thinking about ordering from this place, don't. The place is dirty, They can't get food done in a decent ammount of time, Cashiers constantly on Their phones not paying attention, and the manager has absolutely no people skills. Read moreI reviewed this restaurant previously and I had absolutely nothing but positive comments about Tumeric. I ordered today 01/21/24 around 1430 as an online order as you can see from the picture attached it said the order will be ready at 1453, so I proceeded to the restaurant to pick up our order and I was greeted with the wonderful question of "Doordash" I am not dressed in red nor have I said anything. I inquired about the order for reg Jackson, and I was told that the kitchen is closed and the order will be ready at 5:15 p.m. that was weird but the timing worked out just fine for me, so back to the restaurant around 5:25 p.m. after verifying that my order was ready. I walked in and was great AGAIN as "Doordash" ironically I have picked up orders for my family while there were others coming into the restaurant and they were not greeted like I was. I wasn't going to write this review but it happened twice in the same day by the same person, I hate that this happened accident or not but as a good customer who spends a good amount of money at your establishment you should not be assuming when you see an African American male that he works for DoorDash.
