Great food! Ignore any of the other reviews about prices, as you get FAR better quality food than a lot of other similar restuarants and they provide you with portions that you would expect for the price. They really fill up the containers as much as they can. I have no idea where they are coming from and can't imagine what kind of crazy expectations they created in their minds when they ordered. Not just that, their prices are actually on par with any other quality Chinese restuarant. My favorite part about their food is how well their chicken is cooked. Some restuarants cook the chicken immediately with the sauce and it comes out saugy. They clearly cook the chicken first and then add the sauce at a later part of cooking it, which makes the chicken itself nice and crispy. That means that they actually care about the steps in each part of cooking the meal you ask for. The crab rangoons also receive the same kind of chef quality treatment. If you want Chinese food that is amazing, then give this restuarant a try. You'll find out what I am talking about.
So far, I have tried orange chicken, both hot and mild; and both were great. I tried general tso and it was exactly what you would expect, had a good blend of spiciness and flavor. Sesame chicken and where some restuarants make it to where you can barely taste the sesame sauce (sesame chicken isn't sesame just because of the seeds), this restuarant gives you a great blend of the spice. The lo mein is more than filling and you can tell they aren't just throwing together a pre-packaged meal for it. The beef with broccoli is a dish that can easily go wrong and I've only come across 1 other restuarant that did it well, other than here. I've yet to try the curry chicken, though I've seen another customer walk out with it and that will be the next one that I order as it looked like how I would want it to be.

First and foremost, I want to give great compliments to this restaurant. I originally ordered through grubhub. 2 and a half hours later, after checking outside in case it was dropped off and not a single change in the status in the app, it was never delivered. I called grubhub and they told me that the restuarant must've delivered it and didn't contact me. That basically it was all the restuarant's fault. It was strange from the start, as once I ordered it. It showed it was on it's way and to keep an eye on my phone. I told grubhub that no, your app is the one who made the mistake and they basically told me to take it up with the restuarant. I told grubhub that I knew the restuarant didn't mess this up.
I called the restuarant to investigate and the restuarant told me that my order had been cancelled long before, which confirmed my suspicion that grubhub messed up. I then placed my order again with the restaurant directly. They delivered it in 20 minute after I started my call. They brought a credit card reader, as I didn't expect to have to have cash on me tonight and I wanted to make sure I paid for my food. The driver was really great. We had a quick chat while waiting for my card to be read and he even made a couple good jokes to pass the time. Big compliments to this restuarant for being the ones to go the extra mile and make things right. In the end, I even saved money by not paying grubhub for their "services" and the restuarant was rightfully compensated for the service that...
Read moreI'm giving this place a 1-star for the following reasons.
Terrible service. Food was OK but definitely not how it used to be. Rude person who served! My friend and I went in and ordered 2 combination plates, with some sides. We thought we had heard $26.68. We were told no, it's $36.68 Felt like that was too much, but we paid anyway. We drive back home and start eating. Food was cold, mushy, definitely not how the food used to be there. I picked up the receipt and noticed the actual total was $26.68. I should also add that he didn't put our money in the register, which I should've actually noticed but didn't think twice until after. He put the money, IN HIS POCKET. I really should have said something, but again, wasn't thinking about it at first since he only put the additional $10 in his pocket. We gave him $36.68 ( one $20 three $5 one 1$ and .68 )
Anyway, when I had noticed the actual total, my friend did call and the guy was not having it. Said we are lying. So I simply asked if I needed to come up to discuss it, he said yes and we went back there.
He was laughing in our faces, saying we are just stealing from him, we are lying And robbing him. Once i mentioned the police, he quickly gave me back the $10 he slipped into his pocket. But we robbed him? He told us to never come back and we aren't welcomed there. That's fine, I'm not going somewhere, where the employees are going to rob us of $10. Rude as hell. Worst place and food...
Read moreI don't understand the negative reviews mentioning portions, it's literally the same as every other Chinese food joint I've visited. I guess if you are looking to feed an army, go somewhere else. For this 2 adults household, we are completely full from ONE combo dinner + order of crab rangoon.
You do pay higher prices here, but I believe the quality of the food is much better. The rangoon are so good and absolutely stuffed, so you never have a dried out, inedible one. The rice and lo mein are our other favorites, and I like the fried dumplings a lot too!
We initially went here to try the Almond Boneless Chicken, and while it tastes okay, if you are looking for Detroit style ABC this ain't it (no where in Lansing that we've found so far is "it").
Everything else we've had is good, just not "best version of this that I've ever had" good. Might be because our drive home to eat is 10+ minutes. Still our favorite in the area though!
I also really appreciate online ordering and the overall cleanliness of the place. I don't know of any other small places constantly frying food that don't leave your hair and clothes smelling like it...
