Honestly, this experience was more frustrating than anything. Newly signed up on the app - I placed an order - my first one ever tbh. I’ve had Boise Juice before but always had it bought in addition to another order or from a grocery store. Never out of an actual store. I was Super excited. After placing my order - which has a tracker on it btw that tells you when it’s ready. I start watching the tracker. I get to the store and wait outside an additional 10 mins. I finally go in and they’re busy but flowing. I check in with my name and they say it’ll be a minute. No worries. I wait in the lobby for another 10 mins. Nothing yet so I go wait in my car. No biggie. 10 mins later I go check again, nothing. I go back to my car. 10 more mins later, I go back in and this time there’s maybe 4 people in the store. I go up to the counter and ask for my order. The lady says “10 mins” - I say “does it always take close to an hour for orders?” She said “well, we’re really busy and technically we handle in store orders first so when you come in to pick up an online - we check you in but if we get others, those go first” …. This literally shocked the hell out of me. I told her that seems very inconvenient. And literally sounds like a lie considering DoorDash orders were being picked up right in front of me almost every time I went in to check on my orders. I don’t even like complaining so I just kept it moving with her. I said okay I’d like my order, it’s been now 50 mins …. She said sorry, we will get going on it. Which made me realize they never started it at all. What’s the point of online convenience if there isn’t any? What’s the point of a tracker if you don’t plan on starting my order until it’s conveniently beneficial for the business not the customer? I ordered an açaí bowl and a premade shot - how that took 50 mins is beyond me. For my first experience, it sure...
Read moreI ordered a large bowl so $15.24. I had very little granola on top and none on the bottom. I asked for a shot of granola was charged another $1,06. For about 2 tablespoons. Ridiculous. It was mostly smoothy texture so I wanted some sort of solid texture. Just rude and over priced. So dumb. Not to just give me a bit of granola which is super inexpensive. Not like I asked for extra blueberries.senseless.
In response. I ordered the Popeye Bowl but I asked for no pineapple. But no there was no granola on the bottom maybe they could have substituted something besides the pineapple like some extra granola or granola at all I had a little sprinkled on top but like I said it was mostly just mush and yeah he didn't ask me is there granola on the bottom I just told him there's no granola or not enough granola and actually think I did tell him there was no granola at the bottom and tried to show him and he just didn't even make eye contact with me started punching buttons on a machine I didn't know even what he was doing and then told me there would be a charge which I I needed the granola so that there was textured to my mush and I understand it's very healthy mush and apparently high grade granola but he said it was their policy if anybody needed anything more they had to charge didn't ask me was it missing something didn't have a discussion with me literally made no eye contact with me so yeah I was a little disappointed in his service. Especially when I'm paying 16 or $17 for a bowl and I asked for two tablespoons of granola. There should be something where you try to keep a test customer satisfied in the moment not...
Read moreJamba Juice is a literal JOKE compared to Boise Juice Co. This is coming from someone who used to go to Jamba basically every weekend. Once my nephew told me about BJC I have not been back to Jamba since...and no way will I ever choose them over Boise Juice Company ever again. It's basically heaven for vegans like me...SO many options!! Both healthy and delicious. The only small thing I want to warm people about is to read the menu and pay attention to what you're ordering. My first visit I said a "regular Peanut Butter", thinking I was ordering a smoothie but that's actually a bowl. Totally my fault, but then I noticed on my second time going in that another first-timer there made the exact same mistake I did so I guess the sizing/ordering process can be just a little bit confusing for some new people. I definitely felt less alone, hahah. Anyway, they took care of me and remade it into a smoothie no problem and were very sweet about it. The same for the other patron too. I've been here 3 times now and so far my favorite is the Peanut Butter Raspberry smoothie. I have no doubt their bowls are great too but I'm just more of a smoothie kind of girl....
