J. was pretty numb and flat about our order today. He also had no concern, empathy, or really any apology about our "happy hour" marg, which he didn't, but surely could of told me, was not included, due to it's size, on happy hour. It's alcohol had all but entirely evaporated. My mother also taste tested it twice. She said it tasted like a completely different drink. It did...it tasted like sugar water. Its why we order another marg. He still didnt kindly void the dead mis-informed sugar water marg either. His apathy easily swayed my easy to pressure codependent mother to give him a full basic tip. Which made me pretty peeved too. She left the guy, with such poor service to us, $7...I tried to take back $2 of the dollars, but he watched our table...again with nearly no facial expression and one of the most pathetic margs I've ever order, over charged to us for a full $10...again just because he didn't care to inform us it was not on happy hour...I mean huge difference between the happy $2.95 happy small ones, and you willfully chose to with hold disclosing, to a new customer with only ten mins left to order that the mediums and larges aren't on happy hour...when we asked about margs on happy hour...and it's a dead evaporated marg and he couldn't of cared less. The manager was also not there this evening and the front cashier kindly listened but also offered not help, advice, or changes to fix or ameliorate this order or how it...
Read moreThis is no longer the restaurant it used to be. I had such fond memories of this place...but no more. This restaurant no longer offers that "come on in and feel welcome" atmosphere of the past. Our food was lukewarm and our waitress disappeared until it was safe to assume we were finished. The fun and friendly atmosphere is no longer here. I support our local kids by buying a discount card for various businesses. I have always used this card in the past at this restaurant. The card only offers a nominal 10% off excluding alcohol. The most I would have saved is $3. The man I handed my credit card and discount card to abruptly pushed it at me, and informed me...I should have gone to the sister restaurant across town. He was rather rude and snide concerning this matter. For goodness sake, it was only $3. He could have been nice about it and I would have understood this restaurant is in trouble financially. I am so disappointed to lose this wonderful little treasure of a restaurant. I will not darken its doors again! Now I have to figure out where to have our Christmas party. I left a $10 tip as usual due to the bad service is learned from...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. We stopped by passing through on our way home from our son's bct graduation. My husband spoke at length with the waitress on how he wanted his burrito. It comes out incorrect and she argued with him loudly for almost 5 minutes before I cut it short and told my kids to go to the car. Then she tells my 16 year old daughter that she should not go in a Mexican restaurant if she can't speak Spanish. The couple bites of food I had were good and the salsa was yummy, sad that they employ people that disrespect and berate their customers. My advice: avoid this place at all costs!!!
Update: I called and asked for a manager or owner's number and they gave me a disconnected line then wouldn't answer the phone when I called back (I made her repeat the # 3 times). She wouldn't give me the name of our waitress "for privacy." Even though it is customary to greet tables "Hi, I'm Jane, your server tonight. What can I start you off with." Or something similar... She never introduced herself to us. What kind of sham business are these...
