IHOP — Restaurant in Meridian

we came in the restaurant , stood at the counter for a few min and had to wait for the waitress. to clean a table, mind you there were only 3 people in the restaurant and she sitting in a booth just chilling. after a couple min we were told where to sit. as we sat at our table for a good 5 min before asked if we wanted to drink and then waited another 10 min for our drinks and then we finally got a menu. we sat an observed her dump cleaner on all the tables around us, letting us breathe in the fumes as we were waiting to take our order. after another 10 min we were greeted by the waitress to take our order. she didn't write our order down and about 20 min later we got our food, one of the order was completely wrong and I didn't get all we ordered, she took the food back and made snide comments in the kitchen in regards to us wanting what we ordered. she handlebthe dirty rag that wiped all the tables and then handled our food, as we were trying to eat our food. the hashbrowns were so hard like eating rocks and there was so much salt on the bacon couldn't even handle eating it. and then while we waited for our ticket which by the way took 30 min as we stood out front, she told the whole restaurant that she was going to pluck her eyebrows and still waiting after like 35 min we just put money on the counter and left, this was on Dec 15 at230 am. we were just wanting a quick something to eat. I iwish I would have got her name. I will be contacting management in the morning. also there was a lady there a heavy set Mexican that was bringing us our food and getting the stuff that our waitress couldn't or didn't get us.. the worst experience ever, and this place is suppose to be a nice place to eat. the waitress was talking to herself and talking so loud from one side of the restaurant to the kitchen and the snide comments were not ok either. the food she took back, she told everyone she will eat it . would most definitely not recommend going to this restaurant. this waitress had to...

We made this spot a bi-weekly thing for my fiance and I. We would go, order some food and coffee, and then spend a bit there and talk before running errands. The most recent time we went there was absolutely terrible, ruined us from ever going back.

The staff was suddenly very rude, not just to us, but other patrons as well. They were actively talking badly about the other customers, calling some of them fat, obnoxious, loud, etc etc. They were not quiet about it and the gestures they made were inexcusable and painfully obvious. They were also dirty, smelled bad, and some of them had long, dirty hair that looked unkempt and unprofessional. The floor was caked in food like it had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The female toilets were clogged with toilet paper and feces. There was urine on the floor and when this was brought to their attention, they shrugged and basically told us that 'it happens' and they would get to it 'eventually'. Something about a septic problem.

The food was abhorrent as well. We got an omelet and some pancakes. The pancakes were basically disks of burnt on the outside and raw dough in the middle. When cut into it, the dough literally poured out of the pancake. The omelet wasn't much better. I wanna say it was a mushroom omelet of some kind and there was almost no mushrooms, and the omelet was cold in the middle, like it had been sitting for a while. We also got some french toast to share and that also was stale and cold. They were not busy so they could not use this as an excuse.

Worse yet, we were not satisfied when we left, and they did not seem to really care if we left satisfied. So I called their corporate office and the lady on the phone essentially did not believe what she was being told, but to shut us up, promised to send a nice little gift card for our next visit.

Which we have never received.

So me and my boyfriend went in this afternoon first thing the nice gentleman upfront said hold on let me find u a table this server snapped at him said it's my turn to be seated ok cool so he seats us she literally runs by the table and says I'll be right back gotta go deliver food ok we get it Christmas busy yeah no problem until we waited and waited 15 min later she finally comes over and says have u been helped oh yeah I was supposed to help u and then I ordered and she insists what I order comes with no sausage I showed her what I wanted it said 2 sausage links but I'm not arguing so just add the 2 sausage I asked if I could replace the pancakes with French toast she say oh yeah no problem doesn't mention that that's a 4 dollar up charge and I ordered a ice coffee light vanilla syrup my boyfriend ordered a bacon cheeseburger with Frys I get my food first I'm not joking they were two pieces of hot dogs cut in half and fried really I was so irritated at that point I literally had my food and was almost done by the time she came back with his food and the food was wrong so he finally gets her attention says hey I ordered a bacon cheeseburger but there's no bacon easy fix she goes and grabs a plate with bacon on it tells us oh here someone didn't want this!!what is going on here, then we get the bill I was charged for the sausage and up charge for the 1 PC French toast I understand a small upcharge but I ended up paying 19.00 for hotdogs and eggs were not done the way I wanted the ice coffee was so gross I don't even drink it I would told her but she never came and when she did it was to ask us if we needed anything and that was only once and she forgot what we asked for what was the point of asking I used to be a server and I get it but this was by far the worst service I've had I payed 50 for crap service and food I've never had this...
