Mattress Firm The Village at Meridian — Hotel in Meridian

Worked with Sean-Paul in trying to determine which matress would fit our needs. Sean-Paul was very very helpful with a strong knowledge of MatressFirm’s product line and beds as a whole! He offered his own perspectives regarding several mattresses in the store. We eventually settled on a particular mattress and box spring combination set. MattressFirm had had a sale for Veteran’s Day but that had ended one day before our current (Sleep Number) bed had “Expired” and gone to bed heaven! Sean-Paul was kind enough to give us the Veteran’s Day sale price on our purchases! Thank you so much Sean-Paul and MattressFirm!!! Our new bed is expected to be delivered tomorrow sometime. The gentleman, Mr. Rushing, was absolutely great! He did not make me feel Like I was at a big box store and treated me as if I was his very first customer! He didn’t try to sell me a high priced mattress, in fact I was there because my current Sleep Number mattress does not work for me. I have PTSD (OIF/OEF) and the Sleep Number makes hissing and low ‘clicking’ noises, which in turn triggered my PTSD and nightmares. I had the bed for less than two weeks, Sleep Number stated I had too keep it for the entire 30 days (slept on couch during this time). I purchased the sleep number thinking I was ‘safe’ that I could return it in the event it didn’t work out.... I didn’t realize I would have to pay a restocking fee and the only reason they said they would take back the base (didn’t know, but was usually final sale) was due to my medical issues. Great store with lots of mattresses to try!! I felt a bit like “Goldy Lox” from 3 little bears as I carried my pillow from bed to bed trying the feel of each mattress!!! Scott was great and very informative of the different mattress brands. He also talked about the “store “ warranty I would receive st no additional cost. I really appreciated him listening to me and the comments I made as I tried each mattress. Because when it came time to choose one, I was totally confused and they all looked the same to me. Lol At this point I felt very overwhelmed and was planning to leave. That was when Scott gently reminded me of the mattresses I really liked and the reasons why.
