First of all, the decor is very nice, but the food has nothing Argentine about it. I gave it two stars because the margarita was so good! But then, we asked the server what is in the rice with cheese and he told me that I should know about it, assuming that I am Argentine, which I am not, and then he said that he would not recommend it at all. Second, the dishes are super expensive, and they have nothing (Argentine). They don't even know how to make the Milanesa Napolitana. The Milanesa alCaballo came with two overcooked eggs. We asked for to remake the egg to sunny side as they should be again and they only brought us 1 egg. When we asked why, they told us that it only came with one egg, that they had cooked two eggs before and they didnât want to waste them, they put two eggs in first. When we asked to speak to the manager, the bartender came and gave us this explanation about the eggs. I told her that the Milanesa has nothing Argentine. She told me that she has her own recipes. She got mad, said it's on the house and left. On the house? I ate two bites of the Milanesa and my husband one of his. After the problem with the eggs, we just asked for boxes to pay and go home. But she just said is on the house. So we left. And this âmanagerâ wasnât even able to apologize for the misunderstanding. The first and last time, if you want Argentine food DO NOT GO HERE. And my margarita came with a Honduran flag đ kitchen needs to learn how to cook Argentinian dishes donât just put on a chef coat and called yâall selfs chefs they need a lot work to do to bring the...
Read moreLa estancia churrascaria was not up to par for my personal tastes. As someone who has frequented many churrascarias, I was hoping to find something similar at this establishment. Not everything was below expectation, however it's some of the details that made this dining experience subpar. For instance the sweet breads that were ordered and came with the parrillada seem to have been blanched prior to have been cooked or grilled. I couldn't tell if they had been grilled. They were served on a sizzling skillet rather than on a grill with heat from some form of charcoals. The meat seem to almost have been cooked and its own saw so that was an indication to me that it was not necessarily grilled in any traditional way that would make does dining experience meet my expectation. I don't know if it was because of the regional Latin influence here that may be infusing certain cooking practices that are not traditionally incorporated into normal Argentinian churrascaria. The blood pudding or Morcilla seemed adequate and tasted well alongside the servings of short ribs. The steak that they claim to have been churrasco seem to be a top sirloin of some sort and the intestines that were served that were not crispy to indicate that they had been grilled. Overall definitely not a dining experience that I will consider legit to deliver a true Argentinian restaurant...
Read morewent with family and the food was horrible. the steak was dry and rubbery. they charged us more money then what was listed on the menu for one of the meals. $40 for a meal when it was listed at $17, i ordered rice as a side and the presentation was pathetic. you could tell how they just dumped the rice into the bowl from a cup as it maintained the shape, they didnât even try to flatten it down. another thing to mention, we were first told the mashed potatoes were made with real potatoes and when we asked again (after tasting) they told us they used potatoes and they add a small amount of instant mashed potatoes.. like what? it looked soggy too with a pool of liquid on the side. each dish did not lower from $20 and everything is extremely overpriced!! not to mention the drinks, piña coladas and strawberry smoothies were ordered and we were extremely disappointed. the host was rude and demanding upon entering. youâre much better off spending money elsewhere. in total, it was $400 for 8 people. donât...
