Crescendo Studios — Local services in Merrifield

Unfortunately the usage of this space quickly went from being a good situation to one of the most poorly handled experiences ever. If you would like to book the large event space for an event or concert, I would recommend not doing so. If you do please ensure that you read whatever contract is sent to you(even if it was sent 2 hours before your event) and to also record any conversations that you have with “Priscilla” the venue’s “preferred drink vendor.” If you are looking for a scam and disrespect at its highest level, then Pricilla and her staff are where you will find it. She will curse you out, walk away from a conversation, and bold face lie to your face. No one should be running a business and acting in such a way and allowing her staff to do so as well. The venue is beautiful and the staff (Fabiola, Rae, & a few other staff members) are some of the most kind and helpful people there are. But when it comes to the liquor/beer vendor (Pricilla & staff) PLEASE DO NOT USE. You will regret it and unfortunately because of the terrible business of Pricilla & Team, the overall reflection of the venue and its owners have been tarnished. The one star I give to this organization is based on the kindness of front desk & audio visual staff. I have attended a couple of events at Crescendo Studios (the open houses, and a celebration in the black box) and have been impressed with the staff as well as the facility. On the outside it looks industrial, but as soon as you set foot inside the doors you are welcomed into a modern facility with all the comfort I want in my home. A comfortable waiting area with couches rather than hard seating is just the first welcome step. The black box studio is a wonderful space that without decor looks like a great place for a concert. However, when decorated for a celebration it was transformed into quite an impressive space for almost any celebration. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even able to entertain and involve my 2 shy young children (and not only in the early childhood music room). I cannot wait to sign my almost 4 year-old up for a camp later this summer, and to attend other family events...

I want to give this place a good review because some of their staff are so hard-working and lovely, but unfortunately due to the choices of their preferred liquor vendor, I cannot help but give a one star review. I hope that crescendo studios will end their relationship with P squared bar events so that they do not continue to tarnish their name..

The preferred bar vendor that they use whose name is Priscilla is extremely unprofessional, went around, showing personal videos of her self violently assaulting a female, and was proud to show it to customers which left people feeling uncomfortable, and they were unable to enjoy the event going on. Furthermore, she was very tacky, extremely rude and used a lot of profane language.
