I've been wanting to give this place a try for a while now, and I can say. The wait was well worth it.
The Food: I went with the Asada California Burrito for this visit. After the first bite, I knew this was going to be good. The steak was cooked nicely, flavorful and was tender. The other toppings they loaded into the burrito worked very well together, making it such a flavorful and delicious burrito. They pack it as well, so you won't be disappointed about the size. And, for the price, it wasn't too bad. $12 for authentic food, which tastes better can't be beat.
The Service: Service was great. Walked in and was greeted. Took me a bit to browse the menu, but service was fast.
The Atmosphere: The restaurant is a little small. So not a lot of tables to sit at. I noticed a lot of people ordering the food more to-go, but I had to have mine right there to just keep it fresh.
Overall, a 5/5. Absolutely loved the food here. No complaints at all. I'll definitely be...
Read moreThis is a hidden (not for long!) gem off HWY 29 for tacos and burritos. The menu is full of delicious items. Burritos, tacos, and my favorite, the shrimp tostada, are available at this down to earth Mexican restaurant. I have introduced this spot to multiple friends and it has exceeded expectations every time. I usually tell people to try the California burrito with steak as a starting point with the shrimp tacos as another really great option. For those who want something a little less mainstream, the location has tacos with more traditional street fillings like cabeza, tripe, and if you are lucky, leguna! I also love the Tostadas de Camaron, shrimp tostada, for a lighter option.
This local spot is great. I have always had a good experience ordering from here. The staff is great, the food is fantastic, it is easy to pick up food after ordering online. This is one of my favorite hidden gems...
Read moreWent there because the reviews! worse taco birria that I have try in my life it was really disgusting… the beef was not marinated in the birria caldo it was bland and taste less, the tortilla was mush ,mush (the tortilla should be fried, crunchy to hold the birria and the caldo) I’m not mexican but I eaten a lot of authentic mexican food🙆♀️ I don’t understand how they claim it’s authentic and how they have so many good reviews 🤮 Beside that the lady at front was extremely rude, I ask polite for light ice in my horchata she said rudely: how, we don’t put ice in drinks and smile with sarcasm ( like saying you are an idiot or what ) I reply I’m sorry but this is my first time here… the whole conversation was in Spanish so is not way how it’s a idioms barrier or misunderstandings. Bad food, bad service…...
