So I've been a fan of Barros for years and luckily for me I wasn't just drawn/forced to go to only one up until now. There's one by my job, one by my dad's house, one by slot of places I frequent if I feel in the mood for a good lunch special. But UNFORTUNATELY this one is literally a mile away from my house and I am now on maternity leave....... So I've HAD to go to this one a few times and I SWEAR every single time it's a problem. For example, on Tuesday, my daughter and I went there and ordered a dozen wings and spaghetti with meatballs literally that's it! And waited a freaking hour. There was at least 4 ppl who came and picked up online orders (understandable) but there were also two families one of like 4, another of like 8 who came at least 10 to 15 minutes after us. They sat down in the lobby and got their food before us when we ordered ours to go. So when I finally got fed up because I had been sitting there politely in front of the counter in the waiting seats as all of the workers have passed multiple times, I swear even the cook came out a couple of times (he had a ball cap on and a apron on) no one inquiring weather or not we had got our food or if we were all right, I got up went to the register to ask for a refund because here it is now close to my daughter's bedtime and we had still not gotten our food. So then the girl who originally took my order (who mind you has taken multiple orders out and smiled at us plenty of times) goes in the back and was like oh my gosh no let me go check and comes out with our food and blames it on having to make meatballs for the spaghetti..... First off those are definitely frozen meatballs I know they're not house-made and even if that's the case really an hour, so once again this location is about a mile from my house literally I can post GPS and it will tell you it's less than a 3 minute drive....... We get home open the food and just as I expected its cold, like it's just been sitting on the counter in the back as everyone passed it by.
Oh and for the people who think why not just order ahead or online, we have previously from this location and have had to drive back because they have forgotten wings, luckily they are close and was polite that time about making a mistake (also they tie the bag when picking up so no, I didn't check it...
Read moreEdit on my original review:.... Holy Lord of Pizza, they kick ass! I've been ordering from them for a few years now and I have seen consistency in the quality of pizza and Service. What's with their cheese??? It's like Jesus Himself made the cheese and gave it to Barro's to make pizzas with. it's SO MUCH BETTER than cheese you get on other pizzas. Freaking delicious. I've ordered subs for delivery, which at first I wasn't sure about, but after several successful sub deliveries I can say they ROCK! Just ordered pizza tonight and, again, it was exactly like the last time. Perfect and chewy with tons of delicious cheese and plenty of pepperoni per slice, and that crust.... NOM NOM! crunchy-chewy deliciousness!! Review that said no flavor????? Smoker. Had to be. Hungry Howie's has flavored crust if that's what you like (they're good too... But NOT Barros good!!) But this place serves and delivers quality pies and subs. Consistently. I've never had a problem with food quality or service. not ever. And I order from them every 2 months or so.
Excellent pizza. I'm kinda surprised by the review that said their pizza was crap! So good. Good service. I guess the review about the crust not having flavor could be true, but i don't find it to taste bland, really. And the toppings are plentiful, not like some other places. Plenty of cheese, too, no skimpy at all! I've ordered from the Barro's on power, and now this location. Same quality pizza, great crust, nice and thick and chewy. Cheese, delicious. Today i ordered an Italian sub, toasted with the dressing on the side so it wouldn't be soggy by the time it got here. To be honest I've had better Italian subs, but to be fair this one was pretty damn good. I'd order it again for sure. I think I'm just spoiled by Luke's Italian subs (in Tucson) and also spoiled by Eegee's Italian dressing and subs (also Tucson). Service is usually great, never had any problems. We order from them pretty often, they're consistent in quality of food and service. And I've never waited the full length of delivery time quoted to me. I love Barro's. (more than a person should love a pizza place.....)

Read moreThe manager Brandon has the worst customer service skills of any manager I’ve interacted with before. When we picked up our order, I noticed we had received boneless wings when I’d meant to order traditional wings. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if the wings hadn’t been overly dry and all the dry rub seasoning hadn’t been on the bottom of the box instead of on the actual wings. So I called and spoke to the manager Brandon asking if I could get a replacement order of traditional wings. Brandon was condescending in his reply stating he could remake the order but I’d have to pay the $5 difference. Which to me, should have been just a replacement because the food wasn’t to the quality expected. But I agreed to pay the difference just to get a grab order. The issue comes at the end of our call, Brandon says to me in a condescending voice that in the future I need to review the order to make sure I’m ordering what I actually want. I was stunned to be spoken to as if I were a fool when anyone can make an error like this. I called him out on his petty behavior and he just chuckled like it was funny! I normally have no issue with this location but the last couple of times I’ve. Priced the associates are rude and lack customer service skills and now I see why, Brandon, as the manager is modeling poor service skills. I do also plan on escalating this to the GM of this location whose name is Brooks because I know ow I’m not the first person that’s had such a poor experience...
