Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Mesa

I went through this locations drive thru tonight. I asked for light lettuce on two sandwiches. I ordered 3 combos and 1 extra sandwich.

I got home and I was missing a sandwich completely, waffle fries were horrible, missing a cookie, then my girlfriends beyond burger was wrapped in lettuce with NO bun. The guy in the window asked me, just light lettuce? I said yes, it seems everytime we come here they stack way too much on the sandwich.

So I drive back and get everything corrected. Come to find out when I get back home from the second trip my own sandwich was without a bun as well. Yes, somewhat my fault for not checking it as well before heading back however I wanted to hurry so it would still be somewhat warm when I got home from the second trip. Also, logic would dictate that if I tell the workers that I wanted light lettuce and WITH a bun the people preparing the food would have known that both sandwiches should have had a bun and corrected the other as well. They had just made both sandwiches without a bun 5 minutes before, they should have mentioned to the people up front they made both sandwiches with no bun.

Now im sitting at home with a sandwich with no bun, not wanting to return a 3rd time. Tried to call them multiple times and they are not answering. Im sure they aren't too busy to not answer the phone past 8pm at night. Not was I expect when spending nearly $40...

Always ask for a receipt. I went to this Carl's Jr about 4 years ago and I ordered a #2. The girl at the window said it was $8.10 and I was charged $80.10! I didn't ask for a receipt back then to prove of the overcharge. I went back 3 days later and the manager there was a real B. I called my credit union and they gave me a form to do it the easy way or if they wouldn't fill it out, they'd do it the hard way. Luckily there was a different manager on duty and was real friendly that she proved the drive thru girl overcharged me and gave me back my difference. She is so nice and I go back from time to time because the positive experience I had with the nice manager. I frequent this place on the weekends. Staff is friendly and the food is better than Burger King. Probably the better of the fast food fare in the area. If I ever had a problem with an order it was my own fault. Just remember, it's a fast food chain so the menu is really not something they have control over. I've never had a problem making a substitution even in a combo meal and the prices are on par with other area fast food restaurants. I like the raspberry iced tea as well as I like to get something other than soda once in a while and the tea isn't overly sweet. Guacamole Bacon and Western Bacon $6 burger's are probably the best on the menu. Chicken sandwiches are a bit weak but that's the menu and out of their control. Quality...
