The place and concept is cute and I really enjoy having something like this in Mesa. Right now it feels like they're continuing a soft opening so there's no ice cream or seating of any kind. The cookies cost around $4 a pop and they're not bad. I didn't love the cookie I got but if they do revolving flavors I would be more than happy to come back and try something else. They're a great alternative to all bundle of donuts in the area for a nice treat. I would love to see at least one flavor of dairy free and if they could make ice cream sandwiches that would be an amazing alternative to slickables in Tempe...and much closer.
The style of cookie is a bit thicker and nearly cake like in consistency, but I enjoyed it. I for sure felt like I got my $4 worth with the size of the cookie alone. I know I could make cookies at home, but sometimes I don't want to deal with the mess and I just want one single cookie .
I give it 4 stars for now and will be back to see how they settle in at a later date and see if my review changes. Very cute and could be a very fun place for families and friends to hangout (assuming they get seating....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated: Absolutely the worst experience Iāve ever had with Crumbl. I ordered on the crumble app to be delivered to a customer (I do this all the time for my customers, I work in sales). They gave it to a door dash driver who called me and refused to leave it at the door step. I called the store and they said there was nothing to be done and that they wouldnāt refund me. I donāt know where the cookies are or if they were delivered. I normally get 5 star service from crumble.
*after talking to door dash they DID end up forcing Crumbl to refund me, I am still disappointed with how I was treated on the phone by one of the associates who talked to the store manager who never got on the phone. The manager just told me through the associate, āsorry nothing we can doā. I then had to waste my time with the door dash refund process. All you the manager had to do was say, no problem, weāll send more cookies⦠no need for a refund, no need for fuss! Just posting this so people can learn, still love Crumbl cookies and other locations I have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeing a baker myself, I find their signature cookie, the chocolate chip, leaves something to be desired. Iāve had it multiple times and itās always the same bland cookie thatās too thick and cake like in consistency for a cookie. I have enjoyed other flavors, and I really like the pink chilled sugar cookie. I took off stars because the price is exorbitant and because when I went last week, I watched a worker take a box of cookies outside to a customer and then use the door handle to open the door to the shop with his gloved hand, not change the gloves, then use the dirty gloves to put cookies in boxes. Super gross and concerning when everyone is panicking about COVID-19 right now. Train the staff to change their gloves when appropriate if they are going to be handling...
