Ordered from the baseline and alma school location today 2/16/2022 for lunch for the office I work for cause they had raved about it from prior experience. This time although it had been a year since they had even gone there themselves. The food was horrible. Cold, soggy and my chicken from the sesame chicken almost textured as being a bit rubbery. The friend rice was very dry and stuck together in one big clump as if old and reheated. I was not happy especially with the amount of money we spent there, almost $70 for 4 people for lunch time. The chicken egg rolls were pretty much burnt the crab angels were almost undercooked the teriyaki chicken was an orange color so that didn't even get eaten. Complete waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. I would rather go to jack in the box and get one of their spring rolls which tasted better than theirs. So that should tell you how horrible the food actually was.. If I could have a redo for lunch today I definitely would not have gone to this restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere. Customer service wasn't all that great either.. One of the workers had just brought someone's order out to their car and I was about to walk in behind them and she just walked right in and let the door shut and not hold it open for a customer. I really wanted to love this food! I wanted to try something new with my kids. I ordered the spicy Thai basil beef in a medium spice, kids chicken lo mein, kids orange chicken, crab angels and miso soup. My favorite thing was the $4 miso soup, it was fantastic and very hot! The good thing about the food is it's all very well prepared, beef was tender, all veggies were very fresh! Also the inside atmosphere is very beautiful and inviting. The down side is it's very bland! I ordered a spicy dish in medium because medium is normally a higher level of spice. The spicy beef dish was barely even mild and didn't have much flavor. The only flavor it really had was the bell peppers because they were so fresh and flavorful. The kids lo mein I had to add soy sauce because it didn't really taste like anything. I've been ordering delivery from this place for like over a year now and I've never had a single issue. And almost every time I've called, I'd speak to the same sweet person. Unfortunately don't know her name. They save your number and address which makes ordering super easy. And they also save your purchases if like me you order the usual. Today I was feeling bored and wanted to order something different and the same lady helped me pick exactly what I wanted. I hope she's getting paid well!
