Read moreOrdered 48 wings online for pick up. 20 minute timer starts counting down on the web site the moment you place your order (nice touch). I arrived there right at 20 minute mark. I'm amazed at the small army of employees they have working there... none of them particularly happy to be there. A grey haired lady (mid 60's) greets me without a smile and asks me what she can do for me. I explain I'm here to pick up an order of wings I ordered online. "The name?" she asks. "Robert" I reply. She taps away at the computer..again...no smiles. She glances over her shoulder a couple times where I see a dopey teenager dabbing hot sauce on about a dozen wings with absolutely no sense of urgency. She glances back at the teenager numerous times..looks at me...says nothing. Looks back at her screen... walks back to where the teenager is working they mumble something between themselves. I'm standing there wondering how my wing order could possibly require so many glances. She returns again to the computer, this time with a total. She charges me for the 48 wings, I pay cash. My change is given and she tells me that they'll have my order "shortly". I sit down. I wait...and wait. About 10 minutes into my wait she decides to tell me that they initially cooked 36 wings and had to start 12 from scratch and that it will be just a little while longer. I smile and say "No problem". But I'm pissed off. I'd of gladly just paid for the 36 and left (if that really was the case). Instead I sat in that miserable store with those miserable people feeling we would have all been better off had I just went across the street bought wings, took them home... And cooked...
