Today I did a drive through order and ask for 4 extra sauces and made sure I made it clear on the order twice because last time they didn’t give me my extra sauces and also still gave me coleslaw instead of extra toast like I had asked for. So this time I was trying to be extra clear for them. Welp they still forgot the extra sauces…. Lmao 😂 no big deal, I go in to get them literally right after I pull out. (keep in mind, I’m walking in with a major limp and wearing a leg splint, do to tearing my calf muscle.) I then go up to the counter just to be ignored by the register guy as he kept on just calling out next orders that were continuing to be put out instead of helping me. Then after about 5min right After a girl in the back came walking up he finally came over and asked how he could help and I just explained to him that I was just in the drive thru and that they forgot to give me my sauces, so he continued to the back to ask the drive through people for the sauces. They all just kept looking around at each other like they were all lost. Then one of them goes and gets the store manager “Sonya” which she then walks up and ask if I needed any help without even explaining who she was at first and acting like she didn’t know what I needed. which when she first walked up I just assumed she was another worker, and told her I was just waiting for the other worker, that I’ve already been helped. And then she tells me that shes the store manager that she can help me… so I explain the same thing to her and she ask me for my receipt and I had forgot it in the car not thinking it would be this big of a deal to get my sauce for a $30 meal! Lol I tell her I can go get it but that I’m clearly injured, while pointing at my leg telling her I tore my calf muscle and that it hurt already having to come in for the sauce I already paid for that they forgot to give me in the drive thru, She rolled her eyes and said, yes, that she still wanted me to get my receipt. After I had asked her if she was serious with a shocked look on my face, she then with a rude tone said hold on and walked back and gave me the sauces. Let’s just say I will not be returning to this location at all even though it is 10min closer than the other location. If you’re the face of your store your key attribute should be customer service! Worst canes experience ever. And trust me, I am a fan and have been a day one customer. Not for this location though....
Read moreMy experience at this particular location of Cane's was disappointing. Although I was hired for a front-facing role, which includes cashier work, I was consistently assigned only cleaning duties in the dining room which mainly included bathroom, and trash, and barely a chance to be on a register. My schedule was limited to just two days of the week, While others, even those hired for the same position received more frequent shifts. They even scheduled me for a week without work while others had daily shifts. Communication was poor with managers, Especially challenging to reach them on hot schedules, responses were rarely given. Also, the advice given by managers would often contradict what other managers would say. Although the job was advertised as full-time, it was later explained that full-time hours were reserved for long-term employees. To make matters worse managers would often stand around in entry areas without helping or supporting staff. I was also made to clean the floors in with sanitizing wipes in certain areas after mopping which felt unnecessary and degrading. I felt I was hired to be nothing but to be a janitor, which was very misleading. Overall, this location felt like a toxic environment to work in and poorly managed. I felt exploited by the unfair distribution of tasks and scheduling. I strongly advise against working here. I want to clarify that my concerns are specific to this location not the Cane's...
Read moreI know literally no one reads these but if you’re gonna read one, read this. My brother and I decided to try out the new canes since it just opened and we went through the drive through at around 8 pm on September 5th 2024 And went through the left drive through and a girl took our order through the mic. Okay okay and my brother has a pretty bad stutter and struggles a lot with saying his name. So when he stutters when saying his name for the order. This women mocks his stutter. When I tell you I have never wanted to jump someone more. If that lady who took our order was at the window It would’ve gotten ugly. If you were the women taking our order that day. I hope both sides of your pillow are burning hot. I hope you get fired. Is this really how you want your employees to be treating customers. I’m literally 15 years old in high school writing this. It made me so mad my eyes are watering writing this. He struggles with public speaking and stuttering and you make fun of him and laugh at it? As if it was a joke? It’s 2024. Learn some courtesy and respect maybe? Stuttering is a real struggle for some people and that made my brother VERY self conscious and upset. Literally my mouth hung open after she did that. ITS 2024!!! Learn some common sense and be patient with costumers buying your food. Jesus. If you read this even a...
