We drove across Mesa in search of yummy gluten-free pancakes/waffles 🥞🧇. I didn't know it was going to be so difficult to find a decent tasty place for breakfast! They got us seated right away and the staff were really nice. We were able to order fairly quickly. Our food came out approximately 20 minutes after ordering. Oh boy, was I looking forward to good tasting 🥞 🥓 🍳 . The (2) pancakes 🥞 were approximately 5" in diameter and 1/2" to 3/4" in thickness. Unfortunately, they did NOT taste good. They were clearly too thick and tasted raw, but more than that, it had a raw Bisquick taste. That's not what I was looking for☹️. I do not recommend this establishment for gluten-free pancakes. (I've been trying to avoid IHOP, even though I love the cakey taste of their pancakes) because some Ihop's do not offer the gf pancakes, and I don’t want to be accidentally glutened. Also, the price to get 2 pancakes, bacon, and eggs came out to $18.25 plus tax. For that price, the food, yes, even the gluten-free food, should taste good!!

I rarely leave bad reviews, unfortunately, I need to do that today. I ordered the breakfast chimis and they were bland and underwhelming. Came with only sausage and scrambled eggs instead of with sausage, bacon, cheddar jack and eggs, as described on the menu. But the real reason I'm taking the time to leave a bad review is because of what I found after eating 2 of the 3 chimis; The Styrofoam container was melted badly, all the way through in one spot. Styrofoam, especially when heated, is an extremely toxic carcinogen, made more dangerous when paired with high fat content (deep fried). My food was placed on the bare Styrofoam while so hot, it melted the container significantly, releasing the chemicals into my food. Because I was eating while driving, I did not notice this until I had eaten 2 already. The 3rd chimi went into the trash when I got home. I beg the restaurant to PLEASE use a barrier before placing hot foods into Styrofoam in the future. Thanks.

We decided to go to brunch last minute after we didn't leave that morning to go back to Washington. This place was one of the closer options that had cocktails. The wait was about 20, and someone came up to offer us coffee or champagne while we waited. We declined, but it was still super nice. We ordered the BLT benedict and the hollandaise sauce was actually lemony (woo), and the breakfast bake casserole. Drink wise we had a blueberry lemonade mimosa and a bloody mary. The mimosa was fine, but the bloody mary was a bit off. It was on the watery side and tasted more sour and cucumber-y than tomato-y. On the bright side there was no shellfish (usually clam juice) in their bloody mary mix so that was good! Overall this place is worth checking out. Pretty average price wise and fast service once we were seated - and the wait was pretty minimal for 10:30 on a Saturday morning.

One of my more disappointing experiences at a restaurant. I've brought friends and family in the past and have had great service and food but my latest experience was upsetting. We went at lunch time on a Sunday and they were very busy, I'm assuming understaffed. The two hostesses at the front did not look or act like they enjoyed their jobs and we were not greeted until we approached them. There were two groups ahead of us, a twosome and a group of 5, and tables were starting to clear. One hostess took back the group of 2 and sat them at a large table that should have been used for a larger group, then brought back the group of 5 and sat them, when she came back she tried to get my party, including one who was obviously dependent on her walker, to sit at a high top table. As this is not a safe scenario, we declined and ended up waiting another 40 min on to of the 20 we already waited just to be seated. A little education to the hostess about managing customer placement would have gone a long way in preventing this situation. The wait staff was very friendly, but again understaffed and missed many details of our orders. I could continue, but to save time, we were just disappointed at the entire experience. I give three stars because I know they are capable of better service, just maybe not for a...

Hoping this feedback helps mgt do better with training and support of their wait staff. I just returned from breakfast feeling completely stressed and irritated after dining at your restaurant. the waitress repeatedly kept coming to the table, and each time apologized for how stressed she was, how busy she was, how we needed to be patient with her, etc. It was incessant. Then she served my breakfast with ice cold eggs - never asked me how I wanted my eggs when she took my order, forgot the sour cream (twice), repeatedly interrupted table conversation, and then when she bought the check stood at the table, once again interrupted us in the middle of our conversation, and then stood there and waited for us to put our pmt out instead of just dropping the check, and then coming back when our pmt was laying out on the tray. I was a waitress for over 25 years. I understand it is hard work but I also understand there is etiquette and a proper way to serve. I am so irritated and that was far from an enjoyable experience!. Please help this young woman understand how to properly wait tables. Thank you. Lastly, the Eggs Ranchero with carnitas was a bit too heavy...

First timer here. Was greeted immediately when I walked in. Decided to sit at the bar to enjoy a quick bite. Asked the server/bartender what was good or popular here and she had no suggestions and just kept about her business. After 13 + minutes, she asked to take our order. We ordered 2 starters and shared a Huevos Ranchero. I requested to bring the starters first but unfortunately everything came out at the same time 47 minutes later. The starters were good but the entree was only warm and must have been sitting there awaiting pickup. The bartender/server never offered a refill on the coffee or asked how our food was, and we sort of felt as an after thought. I am a Mesa restaurant/bar business owner and I do understand the challenges and nature of this business whether it is seasonal or not. However, when you have 4 seats directly in front of you that may require your attention, it's hard to understand why you are being overlooked or simply checked on.

The energy was buzzing with a Friday morning crowd. The ambience and decor was fun. Plenty of...
