BEWARE!!!!! NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR GROOMSMEN SUITS!

If i could give this store 0 stars I would. I am not sure where to begin! My husband and I recently tied the knot in July. There are not very many suit stores out there for men as there are wedding dress boutiques for women. We went into ISW to check everything out the first week and April and a girl by the name of Lexi helped us with our suits. It seemed as though she new exactly what she was talking about and gave us a deal on the suits for all 6 groomsman. So we decided that we would go with ISW.

We had all of the groomsman come in that following weekend to get fitted for their suits (got them in 3 months prior to the wedding so we would have no issues getting things). At that time Lexi took all the guys measurements and wrote them down in our file and was suppose to enter them into the computer system as well. Lexi helped the groomsman pick out a head to toe suit that day including the socks.

Unfortunately a few weeks after all the men came in to get their suits all together, one of the groomsman stopped in to make a deposit and Ahli (the store manager) attempted to look the that groomsmen up in the system and his name or file was not found (we later found out that Lexi did not enter our wedding group in the ISW system correctly). So the Ahli remeasured him and looked in the paper work at what Lexi written down for his measurement and discovered she measured one of our groomsmen 4 times too large. We had have all of the groomsman come back in (mind you some of them lived 1 hour away) just so they could get remeasured (come to find out she measured 4 out of the 6 incorrectly).

Not only did that situation occur, however they also sold the socks that went with our guys suits so we had to go some place else to find socks that were suppose to be sold with our suits. They kept 3 pairs of socks,however their were 4 guys that were without those matching socks). We had to go in there an make sure that they held all of our stuff together with all of the groomsmens suits that should have been placed in the back. Not to mention the same thing happened with the mens tie, luckly they were able to order more ties from a different location. The store owner attempted to try to smooth things over by taking $20 off each mans suit (mind you these are $350 suits) so....thanks...that helped alot!

So after that nightmare, we go in to pick up my husbands suit (late may). Ahli, helped my husband try on his suit ( I did not go over there to look because i was at the counter trying to check on all the other groomsmen suits. Once the groom was finished we check out and left. We did not open the bag that the suit was placed in until it was time to go get it altered (my husband had a tailor that he trust so we did not use ISW) so when my husband tried the suit on at the tailors, the tailor noticed that there was a huge snag in the back!!

We took the suit back up to ISW and they tried to blame us! First of all where do you think my husband snag a suit that is not even tailored and second of all where would we need to wear it too, this is a suit for a wedding that is a month away! I was so frustrated at this point because it has been one thing after another with this company! When trying on anything its is hard to get a clear visual of what the back looks like, so you would think that Ahli (store manager) would have seen that and told my husband but nope he was just looking to make a sale, so he sold us a suit knowing it had a snag in the back. I let Ahli know that something has be done about this and i would like for them to give at least my husband 50% off the sale price but he declined and so did the store owner. The only thing they offered was a $100 gift card! Wow so you want me to come back in your store and shop with you again after this whole mess!! NOPE!! Thanks be to God they were able to find a suit jacket in my husbands size that was in the store (mind you this was 2 weeks before out destination wedding). DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR LARGE...

I’m so disappointed. We have been coming here for years and it used to have decent service but now the place is horrible.

They have the same suits they had in there for the past 8 years. My kid has gone in there year over year to go suit shopping for homecoming. We would get there and we’d get helped by a short man and he was excellent at his job. We’d find something and leave happy.

7 years ago my husband bought his suit here and he left happy.

Now we went this year because it’s prom for my kid. Unfortunately the same worker was not available. This time it’s an older woman. She says do you need help. I say no we got it. She comes behind us anyway. She goes “what kind of suit are you looking for ? “ I explain something fancy.

This woman would not let us speak to each other without her being present. She kept pushing her ideas. And she kept using the wrong pronouns for my child.

I had to tell her what my kids suit jacket size was. And when we went to try the suit on in the dressing room there’s couches. In the cup holder of the couch there was a rotting apple core that had been there for quite a few days. I

She wanted to sell me a 3 piece suit for $450 where the pants didn’t fit and didn’t offer any solution for fixing them. And a vest that was way too large and looked like it had been used and altered before. It had the buttons moved and cuts on the seam.

She kept saying the tailor can fix it. I’m sure but I’m not paying that price for something that looks second hand. I asked if she could sell the jacket alone since the other pieces didn’t work. She said no. I asked if we could replace the pieces with the same pieces from the same jacket sets on the rack. She smiled condescendingly at me and said no. They have to go together.

I wanted to see if there was another jacket of the same size or similar and she didn’t let us. I told her thanks and wanted to formulate a plan. She kept showing up and not leaving.

I felt so uncomfortable. I will never be returning to...

I am happy to report that, as expected, the tailoring of my purchases last week are perfect. I will soon be 60 and can honestly say that I have never before experienced better fitting and tailoring. Samir came through for me again today; he helped me select another great pair of shoes. Thank you again to Samir and his colleagues for providing such a pleassnt shopping experience.

To say my experience today was “well above average” is an understatement. I drove to Mesquite with no preconceived notions of what to expect except what I saw on iswmenswear.com, but was sincerely overwhelmed with the quality of Samir’s customer service and the store’s inventory. I was originally just interested in looking at sports coats, but I left happy after purchasing three sports coats, two suits, three pairs of slacks, four dress shirts, three ties, and a pair of dress shoes! I cannot say enough about how helpful Samir was. He actively listened to my preferences, which is often rare in retail these days. His experience in coordinating colors and customizing my jackets, suits, and slacks for tailoring was evident immediately. I can’t wait to get my tailored clothes and truly appreciate Samir rushing a jacket through so it will be ready for a work event next week. I foresee future road trips to Mesquite to visit ISW Menswear and I’m relieved to know Samir will be there to...
