I ordered a “Value Duet” Mediterranean Sandwich with Tomato Soup online for Drive Thru Pickup. As I picked up my order, I asked if I could get the chips instead of the bread. The young lady at the drive thru register immediately told me I couldn’t switch out for chips because I ordered a “Value Duet” and that’s why it’s so cheap. I told her that I’ve never had an issue with any other location and that I didn’t want so much bread considering I already had a sandwich.
I requested to speak with the Manager and told her the exact same thing, and she gave me the exact same response as the young lady. She proceeded to tell me that no location is supposed to substitute for value duet orders and refused to accommodate me. I’m not sure how I was supposed to eat my soup because I also didn’t receive any silverware either. When I checked my order after pulling out the drive thru, my Mediterranean sandwich barely had any ingredients on it.
The customer service at this location is horrible, the staff were extremely unpleasant and rude. Even in the fine line description of my online order it states, “We bake our items fresh daily and will try our best to fulfill your order exactly as you specify.“ However, should an issue occur, we'll do our best to replace, substitute or work with you on arrival to adjust the order to your liking.
I called Panera Bread customer service line and was told that I was supposed to be accommodated and could have switch out the bread that was “Stale” by the way for the chips. Customer service reported my incident to this location and I received a reward for the future. Read moreI got to this location at 8:00p.m. on Sunday night and went ahead and placed my order. After paying for my order I went to fill up my drink and a lady was already removing all the containers that dispense the juices and sodas. She offered to pour some of the leftovers (did not have another choice so I took something). Then I asked her, "what time do you close?" To which she responded, "we close at 9p.m." I showed her that online it said 9:30p.m. and on the front door 10p.m. to which she responded that "they just haven't changed it". I asked to speak to the manager to which she responded "her name is Mary and she is not available right now". A few minutes later after they brought out our food, Mary (manager) approached our table and asked if we needed to speak with her. I pointed out to the sign that said Sunday 7:30a.m.-10p.m. and she said that they have changed their hours about 3 months ago. I asked as to why the sign hasn't been changed since then to let customers know online and at the door. To which she responded that the district manager sent a sign that said 7:30a.m.-9:30p.m. (also wrong apparently). I asked Mary, "why don't you write a temporary sign to alert customers and provide good customer service"? She responded, "all regular customers already know". I asked as to how I could get in contact with corporate to make a complaint so she referred me to the website. While we were eating there we saw at least 20 people come in around 8:45p.m. and told that the cafe was closing at 9p.m. all of them seemed upset since the sign online and at the door did not reflect that. Read moreSO UPSET!! I just spent $50 on a delivery order from this store. I had to call the store to get an update on my order after 30 minutes after the latest quoted arrival time and the food had not left the store when I called, but I said it was ok and I’m sure they’re busy and I wasn’t even upset at that point, but when my food finally got here... an hour after the latest quoted arrival time, I had no straws, no plastic ware or napkins, no side items that we ordered (like French baguettes which are my favorite part of this whole too expensive meal) and I couldn’t be more disappointed with spending half of a HUNDRED DOLLARS at this store. Not to mention this is after giving this store another chance after getting horribly rude service in their drive through on multiple occasions and stopping going there for months. I have never left a bad review before today. I don’t ever spend that much money on take out, but boy what an experience for the time I decide to spend and try to treat me and my boyfriend to a nice, in home, meal. I want my money and wasted time back.
