I am sending a Gigantic Way To Go" to the "At Home SuperStore" in Mesquite,TX! Let me first say, I have been shopping at this location for many years, every since it first opened! This particular location has gone through several management changes and staff and the store has always looked unkempt when I visited! Things were consistently off shelves and on the floor, the Wall Art section, Bedding and Floral sections were forever messy! Also, whenever items in the store were "marked down" you had to search hard to find them, and when you did, they were usually damaged or just thrown on a shelf somewhere!
Well, fast forward to yesterday 07/07/2022, I hadn't been here in a while, and decided to go look for some decorating ideas for a bathroom remodel that I'm planning. When I walked in the store, it just felt different! I noticed how very clean and organized the front of the store was! I started walking on the right side of the store going up and down each aisle and the "clean and organized" theme was still going on!! I was honestly, and so pleasantly surprised at the new look this location has taken on. Needless to say, I made my way around the entire store in about 1hr 1/2, and every department, including the Wall Art section (my favorite) looked absolutely beautiful! I even noticed that they now put actual "mark down" stickers on reduced merchandise(which I did see an employee doing) and shelve them in a very easy to find way! All the staff I saw were working busily, no one standing around and how nice it was to see no "personal cell phones" being used( which happens at many places these days)! I didn't buy anything at this time, but I made it my business to seek out the night manager (Ms. Christina) to let them know how wonderful everything looked and what a great job they are doing!! So to Store Manager: Linda, the Store Director: Daniel and all the staff at the Mesquite At Home Superstore, I say, "Thanks for Stepping Up Your Game, and making this location a joy to shop, and I'll definitely be returning to purchase my remodeling items!!!

Read moreSo... normally I will write very detailed reviews but due to the amount of time I spend at this store and the service I receive currently I do not wish to allow any employee to know I rated them in dear of retaliation. So I'm doing my best to offer not only the employer feedback as well as allow customers to know my view points of the employees, management, and how the store in general was. The store and it's maintainence is well stocked, isles clear, floors clean, did not use restroom, found a couple of items stocked where the price tag did not reflect the true price. Employees were on several occasions rude, unhelpful, always rushing me and our conversation like they needed to be somewhere else. management a mystery. once I think I saw a manager but I wasn't having trouble so I didn't need to speak with a manager. Then when I asked to speak with the manager who claimed to be the manager not only did not display any signification that was their title nor did they conduct themselves as so and I haven't been back to that store since and I truly don't want to buy know its inevitable. I can honestly feel that I have not said to much because you could tell by the they talked they have claimed that title before but their coworkers face said that was the first time they had did it in front of the. good luck to you and the company... sadly I'll see y'all eventually hopefully no time soon. but with a lot of luck a new amazing review for a store with employees and management that actually care or at least...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! My wife and I were at the checkout counter with a king size head board and rug. The rug we were purchasing had a red mark through the tag. I asked why we were not getting the "red line" price advertised all over the store and we were told by the cashier to wait for the manager (Adrian). Adrian proceeded to inform us that it was not the correct "red mark". I told her "as a manager it might be a good idea to tell whoever it may concern to not use multiple different red marks on product tags and that it was confusing to the customer". She proceeded to ROLL HER EYES AND SCOFFED AT US, acting like a teenager with an attitude! I'm 100 percent serious!!! Even with customers all around seeing her behavior! I was extremely offended and I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. I called her on it and she continued to act unprofessional. We did not go through with our purchase. Our time there this evening was a complete waste of an hour. We have done business with At Home/Garden Ridge for 15 years and spent thousands of dollars and have never seen such unprofessionalism. We will NOT be back for some time. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WOMAN IS A MANAGER!!! And if anyone from upper management reads this, please only use red marker on things you intend to actually reduce the price on.
