Edit 3 I was told if I needed to return my appliance, I can within 15 days, no questions asked. All I would need to do is either bring to this store (1.5 hours away), or call them and have the 3rd party shipping company come pick it up. After several phone calls, I kept getting directed to the national call center and discovered the stores do not have a direct number. The call center was not able to take the return and I would have to bring it back to the store myself. A few hours later, I was able to get my hands on a truck, to haul this myself to the store I bought it from. Dorothy in Customer Service desk was the nicest person out of this entire experience. I returned the appliance no issue, but what a frustrating experience. I am at a loss for this ordeal. I lost 2 days of work because of delivery issues, and paid for a rental truck to drive 50 miles one way to return this damaged product. None of the employees I dealt with (Ryan, Angel, other employees just standing around looking at me) seemed to genuinely care. This was obviously damage from when the Best Buy employee removed the appliance from the display in store. It was very obvious just by looking at the type of damage, and where it was dented. Some employees kept blaming the 3rd party shipping company when it obviously was not.
Edit 2 Store manager never returned my call. After delivery, I took the packaging apart and the front of my appliance is completely dented. It seems as if the employees at the store were uninstalling it for me, but they used too much force to remove it from the cabinets and dented my entire front face of appliance. What another hassle to go thru to correct this.
Edit I knew it was too good to be true. Delivery is now delayed. Now, I have to take another day off from work for them to delivery my appliance. The reason I was told it was delayed was because the warehouse did not have my item in time. Employees at this store had 1.5 weeks to prep it to meet original scheduled delivery, but they failed to meet the deadline. I saw the exact [open box] item with my own eyes before I purchased it.

At first, I was skeptical shopping for appliances at a big-box store, but Adrian and Gabrielle were a pleasure to do business with. I got an amazing deal, and they were very informative and patient. I am waiting for my upcoming delivery. Unless something goes horribly wrong during the delivery process, they get 5 stars. I will update this...
   Read moreVisited on 10/4/25 and stopped at the Geek Squad desk for help with a phone issue. Met Daniel who was awesome. Daniel was very knowledgeable, super friendly, customer focused and had a great chill attitude. We aged ourselves when we asked about the apps transferring over and said as long as snap chat, tik tok and facebook transferred over we were good. And we said we are old and I said we told Daniel we gave our age away by asking about Facebook lol. Daniel provided some great tips and suggestions. We had a great talk about products, etc. Make sure to visit Daniel in the Geek Squad. And by the way he has great curly hair. Best Buy...Make sure to commend Daniel for an outstanding job!!!
Visited this Mesquite location on 3/8/25 in the evening to shop for a new phone. We were greeted and assisted by Erik, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and had a great attitude, not only with my husband and I, but also with every customer he encountered the whole time we were there. My husband and I had quite a few questions regarding a few phones and Erik provided his honest opinions, suggestions and recommendations, which helped us to narrow it down to 2 phones in particular (the Edge and the Razor). He gave us time to think and think about which phone I should go with while he attended to other customers, he continuously checked on us to see if we had any other questions. Erik was very nice, cheerful, and seemed very happy to assist customers, he was always smiling and laughing. Erik was very customer focused and detail oriented. In the end we ended up purchasing 2 phones (both the Edge and the Razor) and not 1 like we originally planned, lol â thanks Erik! While we were there, we were also assisted by Valerie who was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Valerie informed us of the Best Buy protection plan yearly membership and how it worked, we were a little confused at first and had quite a few questions, but Valerie welcomed our questions and was very detailed in helping us understand how the plan worked and all the benefits it has to offer. We purchased the protection membership based on the great recommendation Valerie provided. She was detailed oriented and friendly. Here's my first visit for a comparison: During my first experience, two people asked me what I needed after only being in there less that 2 minutes.
The 3 people that helped me were very friendly and knew where things were.
When I was about to checkout, a helpful lady took me to the customer service desk to help me so I wouldn't stand in line
Here's my second visit; I had to go find someone to help me after 5 minutes of trying to find the item I was looking for.
I finally found the specific monitor I needed but it was still in saran wrap. After standing around another 3 minutes someone finally passed me and I told her what I needed. She told me she'd get someone. I heard her talking to someone on her radio as she walked away but after another 3 minutes of waiting, I finally flagged down another guy who seemed uninterested in helping me. But after I explained what I needed, he proceeded to rip the saranwrap so I interrupted and told him I could do that, to which he quickly obliged. So I unwrapped my own monitor and pulled the monitor down myself and walked away.
The last item I needed was a 10' USB-A to Type-C cord. The guy up front didn't know what I was asking about so he pointed me to the wrong department. The girl in the wrong department pointed me to the accessories department and finally the guy in that department pointed me to the mobile department. Then in that department, one of the girls was not too thrilled to help me and asked me to give her a few minutes (she was cleaning her phone screen) . Luckily, the gentleman next to her offered to help. Finally she 36 minutes, I finally got all 3 items I came for.
