Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Mesquite

If I could give -10 stars I would I had such a horrible experience at this store yesterday, I'm a regular customer my three year old loves the brocolli and cheese soup so I wanted to buy her some yesterday, I place my order on their website and pay and everything goes through even receive an email confirming purchase. Thirty minutes later I arrive at store, I had a curbside order but I was just gonna go and pick it up. So the doors are locked I dont know what's going on, I go back to my car and call and a guy answers the phone asking what's the name on the order, meanwhile there is a woman yelling in the background if it's a doordash or grubhub order, yelling LOUDLY AND RUDELY. I say that I placed the order on the website, he says they dont see the order and the lady is telling him WE DONT HAVE IT!!!!! It was the rudest customer service I've EVER EXPERIENCED HERE, ALL THIS GUY SAID IS I DONT KNOW I DONT KNOW. I'm like well I ordered on line and paid for it and he just basically blows me off saying that he cant do anything about it. I cant go and show him the confirmation email, he does not know the corporate number, he does not know the store number. Didnt even try to make things right. Well then I call back and try to order three more soups after already buying 3 and he says they are not taking orders and are having technical issues. I understand that issues happen but these employees DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO MAKE THIS RIGHT, IT WAS JUST $17 BUT I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS STORE THE EMPLOYEES, I GO HERE ALOT AND THIS INCIDENT WAS HORRID AND I WAS DISGUSTED AT THESE EMPLOYEES. LESSON LEARNED NEVER ORDER ON THE WEBSITE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SLOW SYSTEM AND EVEN SLOWER RUDE EMPLOYEES....

My niece and I went to Schlozskys on September 18, 2020 @ 9:45 pm and we received the best customer service that you could ask for. I didn't know that Schlotzskys sold broccoli cheese soup and the cashier ask me if I wanted to taste it since my niece wanted Schlotzskys and I wanted to go to mcalisters for their broccoli cheese soup, but since she let me taste theirs I loved it so I ordered the pick 2 menu with half of a smoked turkey sandwich and broccoli cheese soup and we got it to go and brought it home and this food was so fresh and hot. What a great experience with a take out order and getting home with it and it was perfect. Fresh and hot just the way we love it. Overall the experience was Na'Lyrics customer service. We love Schlotzskys and I am so glad that you have such amazing and awesome customer service who is not bothered by customers coming in just a few minutes prior to closing and giving their all to please the customer. My niece ordered the largest sandwich on the menu seperately receipted and was satisfied 100 percent as well. Keep up the great service because when you have someone taking your order like Na'Lyric then you know that your going to be back and eat at your restaurant again. My niece and I both love Schlotzskys and we will be going there from now on. Keep up the great customer service...

Julio here. I would personally like to thank all the customers who come in to enjoy what we have to offer. Those who know me know that I do my best to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Any mistakes made on our part I often try to rectify please be patient as we are human and prone to error. I would like to point out a few things from the restaurant perspective. 1. We are not a fast food place. We have 1 oven and during lunchtime with being shortstaffed along with on line orders it may take longer than expected please ne understanding. You may see only a few people inside and think thats all but we may have 10-15 online orders we are trying to finish up. Also when you want a discount for military or senior citizen or law enforcement please say that before your order is completed. We have to do the order over again to add that and when so many people are waiting it is time consuming, work with us to make it easier for everyone. Lastly, we are not a restaurant so when you leave your trash, leftovers and spilled soda and just walk out you make it harder to serve everyone equally and properly. Because the cook has to leave station to clean up the mess. A mess without a tip is disrespectful....
