Do not bother shopping here. Apparently their inventory is ānot for saleā. I went for some paint because my wife wanted some rhinestones. She found them in an open cardboard box at the base of some empty display shelves and figured they just had not restocked yet. In the midget of looking through them a very rude employee started chastising her for looking through the box and rudely informed us that those were ānot for saleā. Soā¦I guess this Michaelās is trying to go out of business by not selling inventory? I was only there for paint because my wife wanted to go. After this experience I doubt we will be back. So this rhinestone sale (and future ones) will go to Amazon or AliExpress. As to future pain sales, well Amazon sells that too and probably cheaper. Like I said; only went because my wife was looking for something. So my future paint business will probably go to Amazon as well. This is a perfect example of why brick and mortar stores are going out of business. I can get yelled at in a brick and mortar store because the inventory right in front of me āisnāt for saleā or I can have pain free easy shopping on Amazon and not burn $5 a gallon fuel doing it. I told him to try the other and he gave me the most horrible look and said I was wrong and kept looking in the wrong cabinet. About 10 minutes in, he called someone and when they looked in the cabinet I mentioned it was found.
Today I went in and purchased some items. I grabbed a sensory kit that I thought said was 50% off. When it rang up, I noticed it wasn't 50% off, I asked if it was 50% off and was told I needed to walk all the way to the item and take a photo of the sign and then bring it back. I was incorrect and absolutely would not have asked had I known, but I had to walk over and take a photo rather than the staff even saying āit would have rang up that way sorryā or just knowing sales or having their sales handy. When I got back and told her it was my mistake, she wasnāt kind about proving me right when all it would have taken was a mention that I misread.

They were handling it pretty good at first, but after taking care of at least 6 people in front of me, when it was my turn one cashier went to wipe buggies and the other cashier,who was a manager, decided the handbaskets had to be put back at that very second. I was not the only person in line. There was another African American woman and a Hispanic man behind me, with other patrons coming. They never said a word...just acted like we were invisible. Then the manager left, leaving one cashier to wait on, now, about 7-10 people. When I requested the manager and asked her about the issue, her excuse was they are required to wipe down after each customer. I had plenty of time to see that it did not occur with the guests ahead of me. Horrible instore experience. I usually order online for pickup. I guess it's back to Amazon I go.
