Domenico's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Miami Lakes

I started ordering from Domenico's right when they opened. I always like to try a new pizza place. Once I placed the order it will delivered within 40 minutes. Pretty quick considering the distance.

The delivery driver Jorge is one of the nicest guys I have met. He has gone out of his way to make sure we are always taken care of. Going above and beyond what I've ever experienced with a delivery driver.

Well back to the pizza. I ordered a large pepperoni with half a dozen garlic rolls. That is enough for 2-4 people depending on how much they love pizza. They have the garlic rolls with cheese but I prefer the regular ones. The pizza is so flavorful. You can tell that the cheese and ingredients are not off the shelf items. I think that makes a huge difference in the taste. The pepperonis are huge and the pizza is just delicious. The garlic rolls are yummy too. The only thing I'd add is some grated cheese to the garlic rolls. I think that would be a great touch.

If you're doubting your pizza options and want something different from the usual this is the go to place. I haven't ordered from any other spots since I found Dominicos. Keep up...

I've tried their mediocre pizza before but decided to give them another chance wanting to support a local restaurant. Unfortunately their pizza didn't even have a chance to disappoint me again because their customer service was anxious to show me their food isn't the only awful thing about this establishment. I called twice before someone finally answered and placed an order for delivery. After an hour of waiting for my pizza I called the restaurant to inquire about my order. The employee that answered the phone informed me that my order hadn't even left yet. Now normally 30 - 45 minutes is an acceptable amount of time to wait for a pizza and normally when a restaurant has a longer wait time they'll inform you over the phone, I was given no such warning. After repeatedly calling me sweetheart the employee over the phone finally said "so what do you want me to do" demonstrating the most deplorable customer service I've received in a long time. He refused to offer me any compensation or even an apology. After this Comcast caliber customer service I will not be giving this establishment another shot and...

Their pizza was ok, it's different. Their calzone the same, nothing to write home about. The worst was how I was treated. One of many nights I worked late and had errands to run so I wanted a calzone to take home for dinner after a very busy night. I picked up the calzone finished running my errands and went home. When I went to heat up the calzone..it only had mozzarella cheese..no ricotta. I thought to call and let them know but it was late I was hungry and thought I'd mention it to them the next time I ordered. I figured it was a mistake, ish happens, but when I mentioned it to one of the chefs there he asked me what day it was that I got the calzone missing the ingredient i said Friday, I really thought it was , the chef got really upset practically called me a liar and said he worked Friday and would have never done that. When I got back to my car and looked at my bank account i saw it was a Monday not a Friday..regardless, i was not accusing him, i was simply stating I did not get the product I paid for. I was treated very rudely by him and I will not go back to buy their mediocre food to be treated...
