After two consecutive visits, I must say Smoothie Express is my new favorite summertime spot. During my first visit, I tried the açaí bowl, which was SO delicious and refreshing for the hot miami heat. It's the perfect combination of açaí, fresh fruit, granola, and honey. Let me emphasize FRESH. The next day I woke up craving the bowl again, but this time I was pleasantly greeted by the owner. I shared my thoughts on the açaí bowl and how it brought me back a second day, and he suggested I try something new. He shared the lunch specials with me. Only $10.50 for a wrap AND a smoothie. I was sold! I tried the spicy chicken wrap. Guys, it was so good I forgot to take a picture!! Sorry y'all. But I did manage to get a photo of my delicious smoothie. Mr. Marcus said it was a fan favorite, and he was right. I like to think of as summer in a cup, better known as "Smoothie This, Smoothie That." Its rich flavors of passion fruit, coconut, strawberry, pineapple, and banana come together to make the perfect summertime combination. Not only is the food and service great, but the relaxed ambiance in downtown Miami Shores is too. If you're looking for a healthy summertime lunch, I definitely recommend trying Smoothie Express. The menu won't disappoint.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE !!!!!! The Customer service, management, and food was horrible. Worst experience in my life as a customer I never heard a male talk to a woman so disrespectful . Especially in this particular area and Location, I was shocked that the owner was not accommodating rude loud, and outrageously in his place of business to the customer, I could not believe my eyes all because the lady want to exchange for a smoothie because the food was not good. Honestly, I was with her because my chicken was too salty but the way he showed out And banged on the counter , I did not think about asking for a refund!! he was really out of order very unpleasant unbelievable, lowest customer service I have ever witnessed. I do not recommend

Woman working there didn't seem interested in working today, but with no A/C that's possibly understandable. It was extremely hot in there, we had to eat in the car. The food was not worth the price. The smoothies don't taste like what we ordered. Both my husband and I found hair in our food. The chicken quesadilla my daughter had tasted worst than something out of the freezer aisle at the grocery store. Just because people have locs, doesn't mean hair doesn't shed. Where a hair net when preparing food. This wasn't my first time there but will be my last.

As a full disclosure, I have taken these grievances to the workers and nothing ever changes. This has been going on for weeks. The food is great and the smoothies are delicious, however, this place has incredible growth and practices to improve. Just last week I placed an order for a particular sandwich, that was repeated several times and pointed to, but then somehow got a completely different item. Once I realized it was the incorrect item I came back to get the one I originally ordered, just to get home and realize it was undercooked The meat was still pink all throughout. That is not the only instance, recently I went back and another woman was complaining how they ruined her order and gave her the wrong item as well. The panini as of late has been been undercooked all the way and they now barely add any meat. Workers in the kitchen area are seen not to wear hair caps, despite the fact this is standard food protocol and they visibly have long hair. The prices are absurd, two sandwiches and two smoothies for almost $40, I have paid $30 for food at Benihana for two people. In recent weeks the new hires have not been trained properly as they tend to give crude attitudes just for taking an order. They take incredibly long just to make sandwiches. This place used to be a favorite of mine, but management has been incredibly lazy to the point that it is not worth the money. You would think that after complaining about how they managed to mess up an order several times in one day they would offer a free item or at least a discount, yet the best you get is a "sorry." Very inconsiderate and not the type of place where I would...

So disappointing. I ordered a smoked fish salad and after adding eggs, red peppers, mushrooms, and cheese to the salad (yes, I had to pay extra for cheese on a salad), and asked for all the other vegetables that wasn't included, what I received was a fish mush lump on grass (lettuce and spinach). The fish was cold (because it's a mushed lump) and the rest was greens leaves. I had this delivered so I can't send it back to the cook. But, this meal was absolutely saddening. I called in about it and I was told that they don't even serve red peppers and mushrooms which I had to pay extra for. I'm so hungry and missed right now I could cry. I waited over an half hour to be disappointed. The guy who answered the phone offered my a discount on my next meal. I laugh at him and told him that I'm not going to be ordering from there ever again, and you WILL be refunding 100%. I was just calling to let them know how much they screwed up my order. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this place. I prefer and smoothie that cost me $10 that is small. This place was a total...
