K Bistro — Restaurant in Miami Springs

Came in for dinner and was very confused, not sure if they happened to be understaffed that night because we could not figure out if we’re supposed to get our own table or wait to be seated. They only had 1 menu available and no one came to our table to ask if we wanted to order anything, we had to walk up to the bar and tell the single waitress we could find that we were ready. After waiting a long time for our food to arrive, I will say, my Caesar salad was actually pretty good! Tons of chicken and it was especially good chicken too! The ambiance at K Bistro is absolutely beautiful – the stylish setting inside the fancy Kompose Boutique Hotel makes for a great atmosphere. The food, especially the burgers, was also very tasty and definitely worth a try.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We were three guests in the whole restaurant and had to wait about 10 minutes before we could even place our order, as the waitress seemed completely focused on her phone. After that, she practically ignored us – we sat for ages with empty plates in front of us and weren’t even able to ask for the bill.

Great place, good food, but seriously...

This place is ridiculous on price and they also add a 20% gratuity automatically which brought our bill up another $12.40 and then when you pay the check, they actually have the audacity to ask you if you want to add an additional tip, I don’t think so.
