Jetski Rentals of South Florida — Attraction in Miami Springs

Me and two friends rented jet skis yesterday, and aside from the actual jet skiing the experience was horrible. We waited at the spot we were supposed to go to for an hour and a half before we were picked up. The original plan was meeting there at the dock and be taken by boat to the jet skis. They told us “the clients before us were late” and that’s why they were late, I highly doubt this. When we were finally picked up we were in a sprinter van with our group and waited an additional 20 minutes. At this point it’s ridiculous, and we asked if there was any way we could get a partial refund. They agreed to take $130 off our total. Before we get on the jet skis one of the instructors pulls us aside and says we haven’t paid up yet. Confused we talk to him afterwards and he says the woman doing admin on the phone with us and who picked us up would take the amount she discounted us from HIS pay, so we ended up paying him back $80, him saying he’d take the $50 loss. I’m not sure what to believe, however, since they all work together. On top of being extremely late our contact would not pick up his phone and we had to call the rental company to get a hold of anyone. The upfront cost was attractive hence why we chose this company, but you’d be better off spending the extra money and going to a place that is able to properly communicate and organize...

Stay away from this company. We enjoyed the jet ski but that’s about it. To begin with, they send you to this park and pick you up in a no jet ski zone. They don’t pick up their calls when you arrive. We waited about 35 minutes for them to pick us up. And they packed as many as possible on one jerski. Pretty disasterous. By the time we got to the island, we had to pay with zelle, not the credit card on file. Then we finally got on. We were just told stay in that area with no direction or guidance. But we still had fun. To leave was worst than arriving. We had to wait about 40 minutes while one guy dealt with payment and three others sat under a tree smoking weed. Eventually they took up back, as I got down, the guy was so interested in his vest that he began taking it off me before I was safety on the stable floor, so I almost slipped and fell. We put our trust on these people and companies and it’s scary. The driver that took us back smelled of weed and could care less about me and my little daughters safety. What a sham service delivery on my rental yesterday. After my rental I received the message below from Jason:

" I am going to give you my managers number Joe , He is going to be the one assisting you today with the rental . Our pick up boat is having some issues right now so he will guide you where to go . We have to switch locations . He will send you the new location to go to."

I was then given a new location which turned up to be parking on the side of the freeway for a pick up.

My wife (the passenger who I paid for 50$) was so upset because her intention was to enjoy the one hour excursion advertised on the rental. She had to stay with the car.

The guy who picked me up was pleasant but asked me to pay for the rental, but told him that I had fully paid online. He called 'someone' to verify. After this call, I was allowed to be on jet skii for about 30 minutes before I was asked to return to the car. The jet skii experience was supposed to be for an hour. I feel cheated. Completely false advertising and...
