Went to Bahamian Pot for the first time looking for a nice Bahamian Dinner. I ordered the pork chop dinner from here with macaroni and beans. First I'll start with the service. There were 3 people sitting in the dining area when I arrived. Stood at the corner for a few minutes before one of three people knocked on the kitchen's door for a server to come out. She was nice, but the fact that no one paid attention to come out and that the worker who was in the dining area didn't say anything brought the service to a 2⭐️. Now the food! The green beans were canned beans, so an automatic 0⭐️ for me. No effort at all! The macaroni, which btw I was craving for a long time was a huge disaapointment. It lacked cheese and was kinda burnt. 1⭐️. Potato salad 3⭐️. I don't like peas n rice, but that was the best thing on the plate 5⭐️. The main dish being the pork chop was over fried and lacked gravy. Couldn't finish it. 2⭐️. I also had conch balls which were too doughy and salty for my liking. I give it a 0.5⭐️. Overall food...
Read moreI can’t believe they have a 4.1 rate . Don’t know where to start from the horrible customer service or the fact they store their food in containers and resell it . I came to this establishment and was told that they were close and they were supposed to be open for another hour. First time in Miami trying to support the Bahamian people because my family is from the Bahamas just to not get the service I was expecting and to see that they were storing the food in plastic containers in was done after that. I just walked out then another customer whom was there 20 min before I arrived was treated poorly as well he told me he only got his food because he had a long day and they told him as soon as he arrived that they were closed . The other customer then asked them if they had anything he could purchase he said they then took the containers out of the refrigerator and placed it in a to go container for him . Yeah this place don’t deserve not one star . In fact don’t...
Read moreMy family and I ate here this morning. The food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their stew conch and stew grouper meals. Would have preferred them ask about if I wanted butter on my grits or on the side. Nowadays people are heart conscious and may not want a huge dollop of butter all over their food.
The service by an elder lady server was wonderful. I went to the hospital nearby to visit my friend and told him about this place. The service and food were great until I called back to place a phone order. The guy on the phone was short, curt and flat out rude when asked about the offerings they had for lunch. I gave him my order because my friend was hungry. He told me “ I wouldn’t wait more than 5 minutes”. Well 40 minutes later.. I am still waiting for food I promised my friend. If it weren’t for our friendship and the fact that he is in a hospital taking care of his sick wife, I wouldn’t have waited. I Needless to say I won’t...
