Simply the best food there is. Let me start by saying that today was the fourth time in a row we have been eating from Bombay Corner. It all started with delivery on Saturday, which also became left over on Sunday and delivery once again on Monday. It was 6:00pm on Tuesday, me and my husband were hungry, and honestly the only thing we want it to eat was once again Bombay Corner. They are a small place only for delivery and takeout, since we live only a few blocks away we decided to visit our favorite place in person and pick up. When we arrive we were greeted by the very friendly and respectful gentleman’s that work there. We did notice they had two small informal tables, and we asked if we could have our meal there. They were more than accommodating and welcoming and proceeded to give us the best service we had received in years. They only do take out and delivery, so of course they don’t have all the commodities of fine dining, but the service and food sure belong in the highest standards of dining. The food was impecable, you can definitely tell how fresh and authentic everything is. We order Samosas, chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka, and two types of naan. Garlic naan and the big surprise ghost pepper cheese naan, which came to our table with the best cheese pull we’ve seen. The staff were so friendly and excited to see how much we enjoyed the food, they even gave us the Cherry on top. A delicious Raswali for dessert on the house. Thank you so much to Benny, Rashish and the rest of the guys. We finally found our perfect spot. Get used to seeing us often, we can’t...
Read moreI am so greatly disappointed of this neighborhood restaurant Bombay Corner first of all I didn’t feel welcomed when I walked in the door and I felt I was annoying the cashier with my questions because I am not familiar with India food and as I asked several questions about the meals he answered with his extremely low tone of voice that I couldn’t hear him well, he gave me a few answers and when I asked him more questions he just seemed at this point really bothered by me. I bought some refreshments and some garlic pita bread from the restaurant and when I paid him he seemed had forgotten to give me my $10 back from an over priced meal that it was $30 and it wasn’t until I told him I gave him two $20 dollar bill that is when he open the register and gave me my $10 back. I ordered the butter chicken that was $15.95 and honestly the container had mostly sauce and if there was 6 small strips of chicken it was too many. I went there to support the restaurant since it is in my neighborhood but, after feeling ripped off I called the cashier and let him know my feelings about the meal all he told me was “I will let the cook know”. I respectfully told him he will never see me at the Bombay Corner restaurant again bc there was hardly any chicken in my butter chicken and that it was overpriced for what it was I usually love to write positive reviews bc I like to support people businesses but, I can only speak the truth so others can be aware before they are also disappointed. I was excited to visit this place but, after this experience I will never...
Read moreI found this gem of a place and wished I had found it sooner!! This is mostly a takeout place although there are a couple tables for those who wish to enjoy their food piping hot. We ordered lamb biryani, chicken tandoori, vegetable fried rice and vegetable gobi (cauliflower) manchurian. I’m not exaggerating when I say every dish was absolutely finger licking good! The tandoori chicken which they make from scratch after they receive the order was juicy, tender and delicious. Don’t be afraid to ask them to add some spice when ordering if you like some kick to it. They said they take pride in their tandoori chicken and it was truly well deserved 👍 The other 3 dishes were also delicious. I would recommend to ask them to put the cauliflower fritters in the sauce while serving so it marinates well. We ate more than we usually do and their portion sizes are very generous. 2 adults with generous appetites can easily eat a biryani dish or even 3 can if you don’t overeat.
Special mention must be made of the staff there who were so polite and courteous and kept updating me of the wait time. Keep in mind to give them 30-40 minutes if you order tandoori chicken since it’s made from scratch.
This is definitely my most favorite Indian takeout place in Miami and I will be returning very...
