I don't even know where to begin with this God-forsaken place. I have never written a negative Google review in my life, because I've never felt the need to comment negatively on an establishment. However, this place exceeded my expectations. I could to a Rey's Pizzeria, wake up with extreme diarrhea and still feel like my time was better spent than in this utter disgrace of an establishment. I was planning on giving it 2 stars because at least there is a Playstation, but in all honesty, nah. I'd rather play purble place on a computer still running Windows 7 in a random library.
Anyway.
On to the "Service";
The owner is a word I've edited out to be "POLITE". He speaks to customers in a condescending manner until they've bought something and unless you buy a lot, he still insists on speaking and looking at you like a bum. Which tbh, is fine. I've never ran a business so maybe I don't get it. However, I have worked in gastronomy and even my cheapest of customers were treated with a welcoming and embracive attitude, which in turn made them return and eventually purchase product. Maybe that should've been your approach. I'm sorry YOUR "product" isn't worth a large portion of someone's wallet (In my personal opinion) because it sure as hell isn't.
ANYWAY
On to the "Beverages"
Kava (A low level drug that at best numbs your tongue) is the highlight of the "experience". Prefiero tragarme Vaporub, than drink the sub-par concoctions that this scammer has to offer.
You're basically getting a low effort oat milk drink or juice with droplets of this depressant and being charged way too much. Also, it's served in these plastic cups that look like he grabbed them from the back end of a cabinet in his grandma's kitchen, might as well serve it to me in a Toy Story 2 Cup. It doesn't have to be a glass cup or even a fancy cup, but ... c'mon, who ya foolin?
I paid 12 dollars for 8oz of Oat milk with droplets of a muscle relaxant, to avoid "loitering".
I implore everyone to avoid this place. Go to a smoke shop and buy delta pre-rolls. Go get a nice rum and coke at a bar. Hell, have a McDonalds sprite and it'll be a better time.
All the "amazing" reviews are because he will give you a free drink for a 5 star review, but the facade can only last for so long. Metete el playstation between the two back pockets.
Wallahi, this place is a disrespect to every person that walks in and I feel for those that don't realize it.
Mo nireti pe Ọlọrun jiya idasile yii. Mo nireti pe Oga naa jiya miliọnu ọrun apadi.
Bula vinaka, dauveivakas.
THIS FOLLOWING EDIT IS IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE.
I did not write this for you to fix a problem.
I don't want you to find the right drink for me.
I genuinely wanted to say all this.
I did edit some stuff that I felt was unnecessary, but as for the rest, I am beyond satisfied with what I said, AND STILL STAND BY IT FIRMLY.
Also just cause I wrote in Yoruba, doesn't make it a Santeria curse, its just me saying something in another Language and I could've selected any other to do so. Cuban Santeria's Language is actually called Lucumi pero yo no estoy aqui para educarte. My knowledge of the Yoruba Language has nothing to do with Cuban Santeria, so your comment is ignorant and misinformed so...

Read moreWalking into Vice City Kava is like walking into your best friend's living room — if your best friend also served amazing kava and had the chillest crew in town. It's got that Cheers vibe, where everybody knows your name, your story, and your shell — but with Miami soul and a whole lot more heart.
At the center of it all is Danny, the owner and manager, whose vision and energy give the place its heartbeat. He’s real, present, and makes sure everyone who walks through those doors feels seen, welcome, and part of something bigger. The way he runs the spot — with heart and hustle — sets the tone for everything and everyone.
Now let’s talk about the crew that makes the magic happen:
Miguel – Hands down one of the coolest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. Genuine to the core, effortlessly easy to talk to, and always making sure everyone feels taken care of. His vibe is unmatched.
Ryan – Funny, sharp, and full of personality. Keeps the energy flowing and the room feeling alive.
Steve – Steady and welcoming. He’s got that quiet confidence and always makes the space feel easy and open.
Alex – Brings humor, great convo, and consistently good energy to the bar.
Lorena – Super sweet and grounded, with a warm presence that makes everyone feel right at home.
But what truly makes Vice City Kava special is more than just the shells or the space — it’s the sense of family. Whether you’re walking in for the first time or the hundredth, you’re part of the crew. The conversations, the laughter, the vibe — it’s all real, and it’s all rooted in community.
If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and connect — this is it. Vice City Kava isn’t just a bar… it’s a whole mood. A vibe. A family. And once you’ve been,...
Read moreMy friends and I are very active in the kava community. My boyfriend & I work at a kava bar in orlando and me tell you— it is EXTREMELY refreshing to meet Caleb and Daniel at Vice city kava. Immediately we were welcomed in by them and it made us feel like regulars on our first visit. They gave us a rundown of their menu (which has some of the most creative combos i’ve seen at a kava bar) and poured us super smooth micronized kava shells; their Kava & Kratom is very strong and has an amazing flavor!! They add extra ingredients to their brews to help naturally promote relaxation and a sense of euphoria which you barely see most bars do. Caleb and Daniel had such creativity and compassion towards their products, house brews, and history as Vice City! I don’t think we will ever go to another kava bar in Miami after being here and seeing how much effort they put in their craft.
Besides from the amazing menu and staff— the atmosphere has something for everyone. They have a stage set up for their customers to play their music and include jazz nights with the band from UMiami! We went during the early afternoon and enjoyed browsing their market of homemade candles, donated clothing, and more. Plenty of board games and a nintendo switch/other consoles for customers! They also happen to be in a super convenient location with local restaurants, some tourist areas (a couple of blocks away), and more hidden gems that you have to check out. An absolute 100/10 in our books which is super impressive for them only being open a couple of months. We will be back soon and can’t wait to see what they come...
