It’s no surprise that Cream Parlor won New Times “Best Of Miami” award for best ice-cream parlor a couple of years ago. I think it should win every year. Indeed, Cream Parlor should win many awards as it is more than a fabulous ice-cream parlor (although it does have the most impressive, inventive and delicious array of ice-cream choices imaginable). Cream Parlor is also a tea room, a great place to grab the best cup of coffee in Miami, as well as the perfect choice for breakfast or lunch or an early dinner with its stellar menu of delicious options which includes salads, sandwiches, bowls, paninis, tartines and more (cookies, cake, shakes and of course ice-cream). It is the charmer of the Upper Eastside, located just a few blocks north of the main MiMo district, with a bright exterior which invokes an old-time ice-cream parlor. I’ve been popping into this lovely and popular spot since it opened several years ago. This past weekend I was there twice and enjoyed great coffee, a delicious wrap and yummy ice-cream. The robin egg blue interior is an eclectic, colorful and cozy mixture of vintage finds and curiosities. Lovely mismatched china plates and cups are used to serve the food and beverages. The staff are wonderful and the owner, Ainsley, always greets everyone who comes through the door with a warm hello. Cream Parlor is the most welcoming treasure on Biscayne Boulevard if not the whole of Miami. It’s unlike anywhere else in town and I continue to recommend it over and over again!

Man this place is the BEST! I came in with my girlfriend today for the first time and we had an amazing experience! we were welocmed by Ainsley and her team when we walked in, grabbed a menu and picked up two Rose Petal Lattes which were great! that was something very new to me and it smelled and tasted great, I ordered myself a chicken and bacon panini and got my girlfriend the hummus with warmed pita. Everything tasted great, my girlfriend said she really liked the hummus (best she's ever had) I finally ordered an Ice cream sandwich but they were out of cookies since they closed soon BUT Ainsley suggested two donuts instead of the cookies.... I rode with it and man I was not disappointed, she brings me a massive plate with my two donuts and two enormous scoops of ice cream, I went with purple rain and the chocolate peanut butter (this was the best chocolate peanut butter ice cream i've ever had btw) *pictured* overall I was very happy with the food and madly impressed with the ice cream, I also can't say anything better about the service, everyone was incredible and welcoming and they were very generous considering we came in a little late and didn't rush us out after they had closed so I was really appreciative of that, I know we all work and wanna go home but I'm very grateful they let us stay a bit longer to finish our food and ice cream. I will definitely be back here and we will definitely bring more people. Thannks Ainsley and your team for a great first time

Venue: vintage, small with a cute decorated patio Staff: super friendly and nice Kid friendly!!!! This wasn't my first visit, certainly won't be the last. This place is great if you're an ice cream+sweets lover. You pick your flavor of ice cream and add your preferred toppings or you can get a milkshake with the rim of the glass decorated with sprinkles, cereal or whatever you want (as long as it is possible to put on the rim of course). The very first time I came I had a cheese panini and a unicorn poop ice cream milkshake; they were both delicious... that milkshake was amazing. Second time, I had unicorn poop ice cream topped with salted caramel popcorn, delicious! This last visit I wanted to sit outside, but it smelled funny, so stayed inside. I had an avocado toast with goat cheese, bacon and honey... best thing I've had with avocado in a long time and of course a unicorn poop milkshake!!! ***One suggestion I have is that the tables indoors are way too close to each other. The guy sitting behind me kept hitting me with his chair until I got annoyed and left, situations like that are still the business fault because the chairs are way too close. ***

What a charming little place! I pass by this parlor a few times a week -as a local, I drive up and down Biscayne often and see it when stopped at traffic light and often thought how cute it is but never stopped to go inside. I went with a friend who had been there prior and I was so glad I ventured into this gem! Immediately when you walk in the staff and atmosphere makes you feel right at home, the decor is so fascinating you will spend some time taking it all in. I had the ice cream and it was that gold ole' fashion ice cream feel to it, and nicely presented in a waffle cone (I don't recall the name flavor but it was blue) my friend had coffee (lactose issues!) We spent about 90 mins there (middle of afternoon) and felt we were overstaying our welcome and jokingly told them we weren't moving in and would leave soon , but the staff was so friendly and told us to not even give a second thought. We did not order the food but when the staff was passing by with meals, looked and smelled delicious, so next time, will try some of their food menu items. Even if you don't use need to use the restroom--go!, that in itself is worth going in and getting a good smile :) The little garden terrace is very charming and I imagine on Sundays it must be quite the festive place (we were there on a Thurs in the middle of the afternoon) Everything about this place is quaint and charming--the decor, the prices,...
