I have been a fan of Indian Cuisine since I was a child. I have been to countless Indian restaurants and recently I was so surprised by how delicious the food is here at Maharaja Indian cuisine! Recently I was craving Indian food in the middle of the night and I stopped into this family-owned business around 3:00 a.m. and I had one of the best Indian meals of my life! I ordered chicken Rogan Josh and I asked for it to be a little bit spicy. The food was so fresh that my taste buds were dancing! The sauce was delicious with a beautiful mixture of spices. The sauce was delicate with a melange of authentic Indian spices that blended together to create an absolutely wonderful chicken Rogan josh. I ordered garlic naan and it was perfection! I am literally writing this review as I finish my meal and I know that I will be back again to this great little spot on the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and 79th street. If you love Indian food you must go here! The brothers that own this little restaurant take pride in their food, they provide excellent customer service, and they blend their own spices which are magical. I expect to see these hard working brothers become extremely successful in the near future because their food is exquisite. Over the years I have tried numerous Indian restaurants in Miami but I have to say that this is my new favorite spot! I'm also super excited that they're open so late for Nighthawks like me! I wrapped up my dinner with a delectable serving of gulab jamun done just right. I was also able to sample some of the butter chicken well I was waiting for my food to be freshly cooked and it tasted superb! You owe it to yourself to go to this little spot! Your taste buds will thank you!
On a final note it's not often that you find food that's so delicious and rich that you can't finish your meal. Such was the case with my dinner from Maharaja Indian cuisine. My taste buds and tummy were so happy that I left myself a little bit of my dinner to have...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of discovering Maharaja indian cuisine and I can confidently say it serves the best Indian food I have tasted in Canada and the U.S. in the last seven years. This food truck is a hidden gem that brings an explosion of flavors to the streets, offering a culinary experience that rivals any high-end restaurant.
From the moment I approached the truck, I was drawn in by the enticing aroma of freshly cooked spices. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a variety of classic Indian dishes with a modern twist. I started with the chicken tikka wrap, which was bursting with juicy, marinated chicken pieces, fresh vegetables, and a perfectly balanced sauce wrapped in warm, soft naan. Each bite was a delightful mix of textures and flavors.
The paneer butter masala was a highlight, with tender cubes of paneer simmered in a rich, creamy tomato sauce that had just the right amount of spice. The flavors were authentic and transported me straight to the streets of India. I also tried the samosas, which were crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful potato and pea mixture that was seasoned to perfection.
What sets Maharaja indian cuisine apart is the quality of ingredients and the passion that goes into each dish. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.
In conclusion, Maharaja indian cuisine has redefined street food for me. The food is exceptional, the flavors are authentic, and the overall experience is one that I will remember for a long time. Stumbled upon this Indian food truck and walked away seriously impressed. I tried the paneer and the chicken biryani, and both dishes packed more flavor than most sit-down restaurants.
The paneer was perfectly grilled—soft on the inside with a nice char and coated in a rich, spiced gravy that had depth without drowning the dish in cream. It tasted homemade in the best way.
But the real winner? Chicken biryani. Fragrant, fiery, and full of heart. The rice was fluffy and layered with flavor, the chicken tender and generously portioned. Every bite hit with just the right blend of heat and warmth.
You can tell the folks running this truck care about their craft. Fast service, generous portions, and food that feels like it came straight from someone’s kitchen in Delhi or Hyderabad.
If you spot this truck around town—don’t miss it. Worth the wait, worth the calories, and definitely worth...
