From saying that, this is the best croquettas in South Florida for sure by much I come today to change my 5 stars review to a 3 stars. Being the food 1 star. We did the arduous drive all the way to little Haiti to experience those AMAZING croquettas! But those amazing croquettas were not amazing at all! They were tasteless! They were well fried and golden... but nevertheless , less ham in the mix! It was softer creamier and obviously deluded, but it was also smaller in size than before. What happened? It seems to be a mixture issue. Saving money? Increasing profits but delivering a not so good generic product? Proportions seemed to have changed. Even the sauces were less per cup, which are already tiny, the red one tasted more tomatoes than bell peppers, the garlic one wasn't cremy as usual! Many issues with quality and quality and quality! Customer service was okay, and the packaging was beautiful as usual...
taste was missing. :( La Carreta makes better coquettas for half of the price! Wake up, guys!! Don't lose control of your horses! I hope this serves you as an eye opener! The worst money a restaurant owner loses is the one he doesn't see soon enough coming out of his pocket for never entering it!
I hope my next visit next month will bring back...

I stopped by with my brothers and ordered the Cubanoâand let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly crisped, the pork tender and flavorful, and the mustard and pickles tied everything together in true Cuban fashion.
Since itâs a pick-up-only spot, we were enjoying our food outside when the family who owns the franchise kindly invited us to sit inside. That simple gesture turned an already great meal into a memorable experience. They welcomed us warmly, shared stories of how they got started, and even topped it off with a shot of Miami rum.
Itâs rare to find a place where the food is amazing and the people behind it make you feel like family. As a fun twist, I even share the same name as their daughter, which made our visit even...
Read moreThis specific location in little Haiti is just a factory where you can get food to go but mostly for Uber and door dash drivers.
But I got the famous pan con bistec. And their shtick is that itâs Cuban food but a level up. The beef was definitely not your normal thin sliced steak youâd get in a pan con bistec but more like high quality deli meat. The bread was fresh and delicious I think they use a Gouda cheese which was different and some type of aioli sauce. The croquettes looked and smelled delicious as did the hot chicharrones.
To summarize the food was very good but it didnât taste like a typical pan con bistec. If youâre looking for authenticity this might not be your cup of tea. But if youâre looking for like a Cuban American fusion that emphasizes quality over authenticity then this...
