This is a review in reference to the private dinner offered at his residence. I must say; this was my 1st time trying something like this. Very spontaneous on my end. Found them on instagram and loved the videos and comments that followed it...so I figured; why not! It was my husband's Birthday and I figured this would be a great intimate and fancy private dinner date. Now being that we do live in South Florida, the weather isn't co-operative as it should be. This night? It rainnnned.....It didn't stop the 50min drive there though. The time slot given was 8pm to 9:30pm due to a cancelation. Our original time was scheduled for 11pm. We were very appreciative of the changed accommodation by the Chef. Upon arrival, we were greeted and escorted to our bubbled tent which had an ambiance that was very cute and intimate. We had to manuvoir tightly through as it was raining upon our arrival. After we were seated, the Chef served us our appetizers along with our drink selections that I personally didn't indulge in right away as we were previously drinking dark earlier and the presented drinks were a mixture of vodkas. (IYKYK) The Chef started working on our main courses and I went ahead to use their restroom; which is located inside their "bedroom". A bit too impersonal for my taste. When I arrived back to my seat, my husband informed me that the Chef stated that at 9pm another party was due to come and we would have to be moved to an outside table. I found it off as it was approximately 830pm at this time and we were being uprooted. (Bubble Tent:$210 Outside Table:$160) Again, we had receipts of reservations being 1hr and 1/2 long. I immediately got annoyed but I'm never the type to be confrontational. We obliged and moved. The seats were wet and chairs sunk in the dirt due to the rain. At this point we were done eating as the food itself was very blandand not hot. Presentation was on point, but that was about it. I made it clear to the Chef that since we were being moved to an outside table that it would be only right to pay the "Outside price" of $160 rather than $210 for what we were originally in. He stated, "if that's what I wanted to pay then go ahead". I felt like he was trying to make a quick buck by booking back to back and falsely advertising on how much time you're actually paying for. Overall he made us feel comfortable and the...
