I love the store, and there is plenty of free parking for two hours, which is very good, but I have started to hate the location. The store is on the 6th floor whether the parking is on the lower floors (2-5), bringing two annoyances: 1st one is returning the carts: When you bring them down to where you parked, there is never a "base" cart where you can dock yours and retrieve the quarter; so many times, I leave the cart with the quarter in it, feeding, in consequence, the people who take them up to the store, who keep the quarter to themselves. I don't think they are from the store, but street hustlers who are making money from this problem. A social comment on this: I'm okay leaving the quarter to someone who offers to retrieve the cart, but I hate just leaving the cart there in the parking and that there are people just taking advantage of the I'll conceived system. The 2nd annoyance is that the elevators are scarce. There are 2 on one side and 2 more further apart. Therefore, you have to choose and then root for your 2 elevators. Additionally, they are impossibly slow to come, resulting in frequent long lines. When it finally arrives, everybody has to cram inside: carts, lots of packages, service dogs, moms with children...and many times, you'll have to wait for the next. It is a design issue, poorly conceived and worse executed. Ah! And you can't take the stairs; they are only for emergencies and cannot be used regularly, so you are condemned to elevator purgatory even if you have your own bags and don't need a cart. Update on the elevator/parking issue: it's getting worse. And I confronted the guy collecting the carts at the garage floor when he called me out for plugging my cart on "his" collected queue (so I could retrieve my quarter). He said: to need to bring the carts to the store to retrieve the quarter... What...
Read moreDear ALDI, I visited this store and I believe you urgently need to hire more staff—at least five additional employees.
Someone to take care of bringing carts inside, as there weren’t any available when I went shopping. Many people left because they had no way to carry their groceries. Someone responsible for cleaning. The store was extremely dirty. A person to restock fruits, vegetables, and other merchandise, as the shelves were empty and there were many empty packages lying around. It was a complete mess. Another cashier, as despite the availability of self-checkout, the lines were very long, and additional cashiers are clearly needed. Lastly, someone to manage social media. On January 1st, the store was listed online as the only open ALDI in the area, which caused many people to show up expecting it to be open, only to find it closed. This miscommunication creates frustration and reflects poorly on the store.
I’m not sure what’s happening at this location, but it is in urgent need of...
Read moreOk as much as I did not want to put this review for sanitary reasons I had to, I came into Aldi the other day to pick up some items went to the meat department and what I saw was disgusting. There were 2 large dogs licking on meat that was on the lower level, the owner of said dogs did nothing to stop them. There were customers standing probably afraid to say something and an employee standing around not addressing the situation. I had to say something and that is when the employee went and got the manager And she in return advised the woman she had to leave the store
These were not service dogs if they are having problems with dogs coming into the store they need to address it.
About a month ago I bought salmon out of the store and had a stomach virus for 2 days I am wondering now whether something unsanitary was going on with...
