My visit to Selva Negra Restaurant Miami was an absolute delight, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic spot for authentic Nicaraguan cuisine! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm vibes and the genuine reflection of Nicaraguan culture in the decor. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends.
The food here is simply delicious and incredibly authentic. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and tasted super fresh. I had the Antojito, and it was outstanding, packed with vibrant flavors. The parrilla with different meats was tasty and juicy, and the chicken was delicious – truly hitting the mark for traditional dishes. Even the Cacao drink was a 10/10 in taste and presentation, served in beautiful Nicaraguan cups! My kids also loved the gallo pinto and maduros, which is always a huge plus.
The service was amazing and incredibly attentive. Our waitress, Arabella, was particularly wonderful; she made sure we liked our food and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff are super courteous and clearly take pride in presenting both the restaurant and the food. It's rare to find such a combination of delicious, authentic food and truly exceptional service.
Selva Negra offers great value, ensuring you get a satisfying meal without putting a hole in your wallet. We even visited twice during our trip because of the authentic food and welcoming environment. I highly recommend Selva Negra Restaurant Miami to anyone craving a taste of Nicaragua in a beautiful setting with...

For over 15 years, Selva Negra has been my go-to destination for authentic Nicaraguan cuisine and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. This restaurant has not only stood the test of time but has continually exceeded my expectations with each visit.
A heartfelt thank you to the exceptional team—Raquel, Diany, Nuriam, and Kwame—who consistently go above and beyond to make every dining experience unforgettable. Their attentive service and genuine smiles add a personal touch that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is a delightful journey through Nicaragua's rich culinary heritage. One standout you absolutely must try is their Pio Quinto dessert—a delectable cake drenched in rum, topped with creamy custard, and dusted with cinnamon. It's the perfect sweet ending to a comforting meal and hands down the best I've ever tasted.
The environment at Selva Negra is both vibrant and cozy, ideal for families looking to spend quality time together. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving hearty Nicaraguan specialties, this place never disappoints.
After all these years, Selva Negra remains a cherished gem in our community. I can't wait for my next visit to indulge in more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend giving this timeless treasure a try, especially for...
Read moreExcelente food, place and good prices.. attention it's good also!! That was my rating before.. 5 stars.. last 5 times we ordered we went there, we really love the ceviche.. but it was so spicy that it was imposible to eat (they said you have to ask without spicy?!) Today we ordered again 2 mixed ceviches and "green mussel cocktail" and it was impossible to eat .. we was burning literally. Then I got the stuff and went to the place and they made me the food again.. but no octopus this time (that's the only reason I order ALWAYS mixed ceviche).. I don't like never to put this kind of negative stuff, but I hope the owners read this and understand that this place it's not running the same as before and it's a shame, because we love that food and I took so much tourist there before and there were so happy.. please.. don't lose that place.. and please ask the people of they want spicy.. please.. from some (a lot) of people that love selva negra! NO JODAN ESE LUGAR POR FAVOR
After this huge review i gave them.. we still have them a chance and this is what we got last time we ordered.. sorry NO MORE...
