Snappers Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Miami

I’d kind of stopped going to Snappers once Lemon Pepper came along. Not because of food quality but merely because of convenience. Lemon Pepper is super close to my house and had become a preference. Lately I’ve been driving that extra mile or so simply because Snappers has more to offer than just fries. I think that is what sets the two restaurants apart and will always keep Snappers relevant. While all that Lemon Pepper offers is fries, Snappers has greens, Mac and cheese, etc. With the lunch specials, Snappers even allows you to change the fries to peas and rice or yellow rice. I love that. Sometimes you just get tired of fries. A few times when I have gone to Lemon Pepper, I would ask them to hold the fries anyway because I just didn’t want them. They’re always soggy anyway even if you ask them to fry them hard. I mean it’s not like they’re McDonald’s fries. I don’t think I will ever get tired of McDonald’s fries. Anywho, I think it merely just boils down to preference and what you have a taste for that day. Food wise, they are comparable. No one place seafood is better than the other to me. Stopped here while I was just driving through the area. It was actually good! I ordered the lunch special the 10 piece fried shrimp with the lemon pepper seasonings & fries! I got Tarter Sauce, cocktail sauce & I ordered a conch sauce! My favorite was the conch sauce! Get it for everything!! The Tarter & cocktail sauce were both in packets, you should go homemade with all sauces, Snappers!! The kid's got chicken tenders combo & they loved it too!! The staff here was so friendly & kind! We even had someone walk outside in the heat to take our order on a tablet, thanks girl!! You the real MVP and you keep customers coming back! I showed her a picture of that sauce I wanted to try, a picture from Google, she was like, oh yeah that's our conch sauce! I was like oh yeah let me get that one too! I have gone to the drive through of this establishment a few times now. The first time I went, I had a good experience and the food was yummy but the last 2 times were extremely disappointing and a complete WASTE OF MY MONEY!! I ordered 6 whole wings with fries and Mac and cheese on the side which I got because suddenly they no longer have mac n cheese bites, the order taker claimed it was good😒 . Needless to say that mac n cheese taste like box n cheese no seasoning. The chicken was rubbery but the fries weren't bad. 20.00 gone down the drain. The time that I went there before the most recent was just as bad... I ordered a red snapper and wings dinner 🤢 the fish was awful and had a VERY fishy smell/ taste. I don't know if they have changed the cook or are under new management but YUCK!! 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 I WILL NOT WASTE ANYMORE MONEY NOR TIME...
