One weekday at late lunch all the customers were truly relaxed, like whatever time you spend here is time off. We had a 4-empanada share and it was practically a meal. Read moreAfter visiting the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, I stopped by SUR in Little Haiti for lunch. Park along the street and walk into another world. The cafe itself is a place where neighbors hang out over good food and drink. The woman at the register is super friendly.
To eat, I ordered five empanadas- two beef with olives, two chicken and scallion, and one mushroom. Each is their top selling empanadas. It comes with a bottle of hot sauce. Each was very, very good, but my favorite was the chicken and scallions.
They also sell sandwiches and salads.
To drink, I ordered a Mexican coke and a cafe con leche.
