My Place Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Middle Smithfield Township

NEVER AGAIN!! Guy Bartender seemed decent at first when my husband and I walked in; he did ask us what we wanted to drink, and we ordered two root beers, but they were actually pretty flat in taste. It Barely Tasted Like Root Beer! He Was The Only One Up Front At the bar and he did try and put on some music, but we were never even offered even a small menu because of how late it was, but I was Getting Anxious And Trying To get my husband to just pay the bill for the two drinks and Leave because I Was Starting To Get Really Uncomfortable Just Sitting, not even drinking my flat soda! But Also, Just As We Were Waiting To Pay For The Drinks, It Seemed Like The guy "Ushered" Us Out, And he Did Pat my husband On his Shoulder Saying "Have A Good Night" But Not in what sounded like the nicest of tones. And as he was walking into the kitchen, my husband Asked him "Are you Sure?!" And he Motioned back to us with his hand As If To Say "It's Okay, Don't Worry About it," But my husband was left speechless And Slightly Embarrassed!! It Definitely is NOT My Bar & Grill I'd Like To Continue...

The last 3 times we tried to eat there (all of them in the last week) we were treated very poorly by the waitresses. They blatantly rolled their eyes at us. The firs time because we showed up an hour before they closed. We tried to support local business but apparently they don't want the business after being shot down for months due to covid. The owner really needs to evaluate his/her staff because we decided to take our business elsewhere (and we were semi regulars) The second time we ate outside but had terrible service. Today, Father's Day, my husband went in to ask for a table outside. the waitress who wasnt wearing a mask, rolled her eyes at him and gave him an attitude... the other waitress was the phone trash talking a possible customer who also wanted to eat outside and made a comment "he wants to eat outside like it is safer, he is from New York!" They are very unprofessional and clearly dont care for this business. We went to PUB 447... It was waaaaay better!! Our family will NOT be coming to My Place Bar & Gtill anymore. Rude...

The local 5-star dive bar of E. Stroudsburg/Marshalls Creek. Food (provided by the restaurant the bar shares the building with - Mullers) is 8 times out of 10 good. Steaks a very good and cheap! The wings (offered daily and on special on Thursdays), fried green beans, and zucchini sticks are great. They have a sampler too. The menu is crazy huge and they have dis li y specials too. It's a local watering hole of sorts. You never know what you are going to get. Sometimes there is drama, others and most times... it's a place to relax, have a couple of drinks munchies, or a hot meal. The place becomes a night club scene after 11 Thursday to Saturday.
