For the past 25 years, WaWa has always been my #1 convenience store. I would only go somewhere else if there wasn't a WaWa in the area. For the last 5 years the WaWa on Milford Rd in East Stroudsburg has been "My WaWa". I am there at least every other day if not every day and some days I find myself going there 2 or 3 times in a day. Unfortunately, sometimes, good things must come to an end. As of today, I am saying farewell to the E Stroudsburg WaWa on Milford Rd/209. On 10/24 I bought 2 packs of USA menthol cigarettes and BOTH packs were stale. They had NO menthol flavoring at all! On 10/26 I took them back to WaWa to exchange them for fresh packs. I figured, WaWa's a stand up company, they'll honor it. Nope! I was wrong! At first I was told it was because they were opened. Well, it's kind of hard to tell they're stale without opening them. Then she said it was because I had no proof that I purchased them there. Ok, I'll concede to the no receipt argument, but, if that's the game your going to play, then you should be giving every customer a receipt with every purchase, what the customer does with the receipt is on them. Seriously, how many people get receipts when they buy smokes!? My other defense re: proof of purchase is that I am there every day or every other day purchasing one or two packs. You can ask any employee in that store. WaWa is the ONLY place I have found that sells the particular USA's that I smoke. I have tried several other places and no one else but WaWa's sell them. I am extremely disappointed that WaWa would not honor a BAD sale to a GOOD customer! Therefore, East Stroudsburg is no longer "My Wawa". I can't support a store that doesn't and wont appreciate a very loyal customer! The fact that she, a manager, had to ask another manager if she should do the exchange, shows that this is not a company protocol, it is up to the management of each store and although I realize losing my business is no skin off their back, I prefer to spend my hard earned money at places that will respect and appreciate my business no matter how much or how little I spend there and will step up to the plate when the merchandise they sell is not what it should be. Read moreStopped in today roughly around 6pm to grab 2 turkey gobble bowls I have bought them before and was so satisfied with amount and price this time they literally gave me a small portion for same price AMIRAH THE MANAGER IN CHARGE when asked to fix the situation, she said that other staff over poured and all she can do is give me a refund she was not the type of person to be a manager she was very mean, didn't smile or made the situation better in times like this people should be able to get served correctly if you are charging that price. It didn't cost her anything to pleased me as an everyday customer & add a couple more scoops She was very unbothered and didn't care. She was the only person at wawa to ever do this. She seemed like she hates her job very serious the entire time even before the incident not even greeting customers. WaWa really needs to EVALUATE. Mind you I know for a fact when she makes her own breakfast or lunch she indefinite STUFFS HER PLATE AND DOESN'T PAY. 😂 sadly misery loves company & she had 1 job I say this if you dont like where you work theres always Burger King where I definitely can have it my way. Read moreFirst time in a Wawa(we don't have a Wawa in NY) and OMG what a rude staff.... My sister accidentally went where the coffee machines was behind the corner counter, not even all the way in and one of the staff told her she can't be there. Ok no problem. That was supposed to be it. Not a big problem. So the comment was VERY unnecessary. "Oh she thought she could come over here". Ma'am, if your going to be throw nasty comments like that, either wait for us to leave or inside voices. That's embarrassing. And she said it loud enough for me to hear it all the way from the chips seccion. We are adults, not highschoolers. I don't know what comments she told the other staff but the one handing the food had a attitude as well. I saw my food inside the window and kindly(she didn't do anything to us) asked her if the food was all set so we could take it and she said "well is your receipt number 923?" ... Um, yes. I'm just asking if I can take now because I didn't want to start taking things out the window without letting you know it is ours..... Well, I can definitely tell they aren't happy working there.
