Without a doubt, the worst possible experience getting any food from anywhere at any time. I placed an order through the app as I always do. Drove to the location and parked in one of the 'mobile orders' spot where there were 2 other vehicles. In about 10 minutes they received their food and 10 minutes later, they were still sitting there until an employee came out to give us our orange juice (and only our juice) which we did but even order. It belonged to the family next to us who still didn't leave even after getting their juice. Evidentially, their order was still not complete. At this point it seemed logical to go inside to find out what the issue was. It went downhill from there. The inside was packed with people waiting and complaining about their orders. Once I finally got someone's attention, I was first told that their mobile ordering system was down. When asked how I was to know that, I got a blank stare. I was then told that they were out of the burritos that I had ordered. Again, when asked how I could have possibly known that, given that my order was accepted and charged, another blank stare. When asked if I wanted to choose another item, I simply asked to cancel the order and give me a refund. The person who identified himself as one of the managers says that he could not give me a refund and that I would have to request it through the app. (A 100% false and impossible statement) After requesting the 'other' manager, he proceeded to refund my purchase through their POS system. He asked me for my cc to process the refund, which I told him I didn't have since it was an app order which had my payment details saved. At that point, he pulled out a $20 bill and gave it to me. Read moreI wasn’t too pleased with this visit at the Middleboro McDonald’s location. It had been quite a few years since I’ve been there. So much has changed and yet this high pitched repetitive noise is still there!! It made me remember how annoying it was back when I last visited!!! It’s a constant annoying beep sound that might mean your french fries are done!!! (Maybe that only bothered me.) You practically have to do everything yourself these days. They have quite a few ‘Do it Yourself’ machines to place your own order. I had a 2 year old and a 2 month old and that option was not helpful to me. I really didn’t enjoy our lunch or visit either, like I have in the past with my other older grandkids. Get this, they no longer have essentials that you might want and could get yourself over to the side, like the basic ketchup!! I actually had to wait in line again to ask for some ketchup and even napkins! (Might be a Covid thing!) It’ll be awhile before I ever go...
Read moreThe WORST McDonald’s in the area! I avoid this location at all costs but today I had to order DoorDash for my kiddos as I was stuck in a zoom meeting for work. Got my delivery and it’s missing the entire happy meal… the whole reason I even ordered. Called the driver, no English. Call McDonalds and get a man who could care less, sounds miserable, not apologetic in the least. I then had to leave my meeting anyway to go across town to pick it up… get there and it’s just dirty chaos between the appearance of the restaurant itself and the employees. I then proceeded to wait 10 minutes for the happy meal that I was told would be ready waiting for me when I got there. Open the box fries are burnt. Chicken nuggets are old and dry.
