The cheapest owner in Dairy Queen history. One complaint is that this location shares with a lot of Dairy Queen locations is the portion size of their ice cream. I ordered a medium ice cream cone and the ice cream was literally less the less than 2" from the top of the cone. But this place takes cheapness a little bit further. Let me explain, every Dairy Queen location I've ever been to, in many States have always had the basic set of toppings. You can choose from chocolate jimmy's, rainbow sprinkles, dips either cherry or chocolate and last but not least crunch coat. I've gotten crunch coat in at least 15 different States at different locations of Dairy Queen. I asked for crunch coat at this location but I was informed they don't have any. So I inquired "Are you out temporarily?" and they said "No not all Dairy Queen locations carry crunch coat." they said snidely , They continued "It's an ownership decision, the owner decided to streamline things in order to save money and not carry crunch coat." I understand that crunch coat is not available at every location but the reason for this location not to carry it, is purely out of cheapness. They charge a premium for their ice cream and they don't deliver everything available to them to satisfy the customer so I will...
Read moreI went out of my way today to go to the Middleborough Dairy Queen. it’s our family tradition to go to The Falmouth Dairy Queen on 28 before we leave the Cape; But it would’ve taken forever to get through the line. We made it to the Middleborough location. An elderly gentleman (who sounded just like my late dad who was from Middleborough), was at the window before me, asking for a dish to help manage his overflowing Sundae. The girl in the window gave him a dish that was approximately the same size as the one he already had and it was no help to him. It ended up going all over his fingers and he frustratedly threw this Sundae in the garbage. I felt so bad for him!! I asked her if she would make another Sundae and I would bring it over to his car. She said yes- and then she charged me for it! I said to her, “You could’ve done something nice, and you chose not to”. She took my money and closed the window. Her name was Kristen. I hope the management will speak to her about how to treat people-giving respect to our older citizens. They deserve it. And so do people who go far out of their way to patronize...
Read moreFive stars for the sweet girl that waited on us. Negative stars for charging 54 cents for sprinkles. I took my four year old grandson. This place used to have tables. Now it's all been changed to add a double drive thru. Three benches against the building in full sun. A toddler can't eat on a bench. Ice cream melted so fast we had to throw it away and leave to get out of the sun, go to Shaw's and buy ice cream. Why would you have an ice cream stand with no place for families to sit and enjoy. Sorry we won't be back. There are so many ice cream stands around with picnic tables, you can cater to the lazy ones that can't get...
