Went to this place for the first time, it's a cute tucked away restaurant. When my girlfriend and I walked in we were greeted by who I assume is the manager? She asked us if we were dinning in and we said yes. She then pointed to the only server working and said she will be with you and then went on about whatever she was doing. The server was running around doing everything she could to keep up with the flow of business but the manager didn't seem to be doing much to help. After 20 minutes of waiting and the server communicating with us whenever she could that Shed be there to seat us soon. But since im a manager myself I told her to take her time I was willing to wait. But then 2 guys walked in and the manager continued to ignore us and sat them at the table we were waiting to be sat at almost immediately after they came in. The manager is the only reason we chose to walk out. I couldn't believe that happened. My ethic as a manager has always been never ask your staff to do a task that I myself would not be willing to do. And above all make sure they have the help they need especially from me and this manager was not it. No one wants to walk into an establishment and spend money when they are going to be instantly disregarded by the person in charge who's supposed to help grow the business and take care of their people. I really wanted to try this location but I don't know if I'll be back to make that attempt. A guests first time experience is very important if you want to establish a rapport and return business and this manager or whatever she was tonight is not how...
Read moreI don't recommend this place at all I was actually on my way to the other thai but I wanted to try this new place.
I'm thai food lover and this one was the worst one in DMV. The place was already crowded when I entered the door and I had to wait more than 30 mins to get seated, 8- adults were just standing being awkward. There was no proper host, and 3 servers just taking the order and food. They don't even bother to look at the new customers coming in.
*Food took forever to come out !!!!!!! * Sushi was a big NONO, not really fresh and no taste. Drunken noodle, crispy tilapia, eggplant with tofu were OK.
Our papaya salad did not come out so I've informed the lady and she was going to check the kitchen. The cook came out with the salad and apologized for being so late, he also said the salad is on the house since it came out when we finished the food. When we received the check, it was charged. Our table did not mind getting charged and just paid the original and gave extra tips too since they do work hard.
But just really bad service and super super super slow.
The machine broke down at the end so we had to wait another minutes for credit card...
Read moreI had an incredible experience at Red Bar Sushi in Middleburg, VA. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch, but what really stood out was their exceptional customer care.
After enjoying a wonderful meal, I accidentally left my grey Lululemon “man purse” behind, which contained my wallet and other valuables. I didn’t realize my mistake until I was two hours into my three-hour drive home. Feeling hopeless, I called the restaurant on the off chance they had found it. To my surprise, a kind employee named Heather (I believe) answered and was genuinely determined to help. Not only had they found my bag, but Heather offered to ship it via UPS Priority to ensure its safe return. I was blown away by this gesture – it’s not often that restaurants go above and beyond like this. The fact that they took the time and effort to return my belongings speaks volumes about their character and commitment to customer satisfaction. This experience has made me a loyal customer, and I’ll be recommending Red Bar Sushi to everyone I know who’s passing through Middleburg. It’s refreshing to encounter such genuine human kindness in...
