FROST BAR N Grille — Restaurant in Middlefield Township

On May 16th 2023, I was holstering my conceal carry weapon, an employee asked if I was going into the bar to eat lunch when the employee said I wasn't allowed in with a concealed weapon. I'm a valid CHL holder and according to Ohio law I'm allowed into the bar unless it's clearly marked on all the enrances no guns allowed. The entrances were not marked and the employee was rude and totally unaware of the law citing her personal views not the law. This WAS our favorite restaurant in Middlefield, not anymore. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE A PLACE THAT VIOLATES RIGHTS AND IS BREAKING THE LAW. IM TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA THIS SHAM.Senate Bill 17, which became effective on September 30, 2011, allows people who have permits to carry concealed firearms into business establishments, such as restaurants and bars, which sell alcoholic beverages. Previously, the law strictly prohibited the carrying of firearms into businesses selling alcoholic beverages. Food was good and great priced even though it took 40 min to get. Loved the patio. Prob the worst service I have ever had. The waitress mostly just yawned and looked annoyed. My grandson's styrofoam cup had a slit in it. Leaked all over him and the table. We sat that way for 20 min. She spilled OJ all over my daughters foot and said good thing we are outside. Never offered salt, pepper, etc tho I guess some people had baskets of stuff. Never offered a refill even though were there almost an hour. I have NEVER written a bad review on here. But this was awful. No excuses. Even if you are new. Tired. Not your job. Smile. It costs nothing. I have endless patience with being short staffed. I have been in customer service for 25 yrs. I am always in a short staffed environment. Not an excuse in this case. I will take great SLOW service. If we could even get her to look at us, it was clear this was not where she wanted to be. And the other server on patio looked bothered by me saying our cup had a hole it. EVEN with all of that I didn't ask to speak to a mgr, was kind to her and still tipped her. Thursday special 10 bone in wings and frost beer for 13.99. I ordered this not knowing it was an actual frost beer on tap. It was never explained to me so I ordered a Bud Light. I get overcharged for blue cheese dressing I never received and then charged for my beer. Manager said that it's supposed to say with purchase of beer. Menu does not say that.
