Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Middlesex

I am such a sucker for properly-prepared fried chicken, & Popeyes does not disappoint in that regard. However, ordering a 2 piece meal with 1 side & a drink should not cost $17. That is out of this world ridiculous for fast food! I understand that inflation is through the roof, but come on now. Not only that, but the total for the same exact item(s) differs at each visit. My family always uses the drive-thru, & my mom is usually the person driving. So she will request the senior citizen discount. Depending on the mood of whomever is taking the order, they may honor that, or they may not. There is no consistency. Sometimes the order is wrong, most of the time it's right (after several corrections.) There seems to be a pervasive atmosphere of chaos in the kitchen area. It's greeat to come here if you have a craving for fried chicken every once in awhile, as a special treat. But if you do this on a regular basis, you might drive yourself...

Being perfectly honest! A couple of workers are extremely nasty! These things I’m about to share with you happen so suddenly. I walked in and placed my order, while standing there waiting, one worker walked out of the restroom, rinsed his hands with water and no soap. While on the chicken side of the restaurant, another worker was digging up his nose! Once he noticed I caught him, he dashed in a corner of the restaurant. The restaurant has the appearance of being extremely clean, but a few workers are extremely nasty! Pay close attention to the workers in this establishment! I’ll never go back there again and I suggest you go...

I normally enjoy Popeyes, but my experience at this location was disappointing. I placed an order that had missing items, and when I returned to calmly explain the issue, the manager was immediately rude and dismissive. I understand the items weren’t on the receipt, but I asked for them at the counter, and the way we were spoken to was completely unprofessional. It felt like we were being stereotyped and treated as if we were trying to scam the store — which we weren’t. I left without the food I wanted because the situation was so uncomfortable. Really disappointing...
