PUNTO COLOMBIANO — Restaurant in Middlesex

Terrible the worst Colombian place I have ever tried. Way too expensive for the quality and the amount of food. Sorry but as a Colombian American not even in an emergency I will go there again we ask for rice with shrimps and rice with a mix of seafood. A salad, fried cassava and potatoes sauteed with tomatoes and onions. Terrible did not have flavor. We pay $60 dollars for nothing. The rice with shrimps had 3 big shrimps the rest were so small that you had to look for them. The fried cassava did not taste fresh. The rice with a mix of seafood was not tasty at all and did not have enough seafood either. The salad had no dressing or lime on the side. It was just 3 small pieces of lettuce,and two slices of tomatoes. The potatoes were not even ok. This did not include a soda. They got the nerve to put gratuity on top of the one that they already charged on the receipt this was a pickup order they told us it would be ready in 20 minutes nope it was not ready at all we had to go inside and wait another 40 minutes for our food. The food quality at Punto Colombiano is undeniably good—delicious empanadas are the main reason I keep going back. Unfortunately, this time, the service fell short.

After picking up my order, I checked it in the car and noticed they had forgotten my soup. I went back inside to get it, and while they corrected that mistake, I later realized they had also given me the wrong empanadas (cheese instead of chicken).

I understand that mistakes happen, and no one is perfect. However, what truly upset me was the response when I called to let them know about the error. I asked to speak to someone in charge, but the man who answered insisted that the manager had just left and there was no one else available. This was frustrating because I had been there less than 10 minutes earlier and saw both a manager and, possibly, the owner on-site.

Rather than acknowledging the mistake or offering any resolution, they simply lied about there being no one in charge. This lack of accountability is disappointing, especially from a place I’ve enjoyed and supported...

Today I order through uber eats , my house its about 8 blocks away from this restaurant, the food it's very good here, but it's a shame the customer service you get ,

I placed the order and after of waiting for 1 hour I called the restaurant because on my app kept on showing several drivers were going to pick up my order and then it will disappear. I called them and they said that they didn't know what I ordered and they didn't have the courtesy to call me and let me know about this.

So I waited for mor than two hours and no food .

Poor customer service from this place , which it's a shame because food...
