Crossroads Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Middleton

Chef Ganesh and his team have opened their third Middleton establishment, following Bluefin (mmm, spicy miso ramen and excellent sushi) and La Main Pizzeria (slinging excellent pies).

Living right down the road in the abutting neighborhood, we have been eagerly awaiting this opening. Another spot for brunch, as well as moderately priced daily lunch and dinner fare.

Speaking with Chef prior to the opening - at his pizza shop next door - I selfishly recommended that he should make allergy accommodations to the menu (which he was well versed in and prepared to do so), as various food allergies are fairly prevalent. 3 of the 4 of us have Celiac in ourfamily, so it does sometimes get challenging to find restaurants where everyone can and WILL eat something.

Now the actual review...which is only for the lunch menu. There was quite a selection of enticing dishes to choose from.

The two of us shared a few plates, which was the perfect amount to satisfy our hunger! We shared the shrimp tacos - delicious texture and I asked Chef to add MORE spice to the recipe. The Chopped Salad was delectable and had an unexpected, but delightful mix of flavors and textures, with a slightly tart vinaigrette. The St. Louis Ribs were super flavorful and fell right off the bone. I could tell a lot of care and preparation were put into the dish.

I did have a few questions for the waitstaff regarding allergies, and it not being so busy, Ganesh came out and discussed basically every item on the menu with us. Super helpful and reassuring that our dishes would be prepared accordingly.

We'll surely be back for dinner and brunch as well. Can't wait to explore the...

Pappardelle Bolognese: A delectable mix of Italian sausage & ground beef bolognese served with fresh pappardelle pasta, a sunny egg, and basil oil. Cooked to perfection for a solid 9/10. 🍳🌿 Curry of the Day: Chef Ganesh’s weekly crafted curry offers a delicious rotation of proteins and veggies. This week’s chicken curry was absolutely perfect, also a 9/10. 🍛🔥 🍨 Dessert: A new addition, the root beer float, provided a refreshing end. 🍺🍦

We just enjoyed an amazing dinner at Crossroads! We are from out of town and this restaurant was highly recommended. There were six of us and we each tried a different item and the food was so fresh and delicious, everyone loved everything. All of the seafood is incredibly fresh and the dishes are so flavorful. We shared fried calamari, a few of us had the delicious and hearty seafood soup, the fresh catch special and watermelon salad were truly unbelievably delicious and so was the Bolognese. The chef came to the table and checked in and he explained how freshly sourced the seafood is and you really can taste the difference when everything is this fresh. So happy we had dinner here tonight, can’t wait to come back! The chef mentioned they serve a Sunday Bruch that also sounds amazing, we might return again Sunday before we head out of town. We will be back! The hostess, wait staff and really the entire team at Crossroads are so nice and helpful, the restaurant is beautiful, we had a lovely time. I really can’t remember the last time I had such an all around perfect dinner and evening. Friday nights they also have a live band so Crossroads really is wonderful. Our friends have been to Crossroads a few times and each time they try something different and every thing is always fresh...
